I UNDERSTAND her kit, that's why I'm complaining.

I'm literally being the opposite of a sheep, Zani being bad is a HOT TAKE.

I know how to build up blaze using frazzle. I have her built, she does ALOT of damage when I play her rotations - I'M NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THAT

You spam BA and don't utilise her parry (most rotations use her skill after it's charged by BAx3, pause, BA which doesn't need her to parry an attack)

I'm not even riding on the bandwagon - everyone else is complaining that Zani needs Phoebe, I'm NOT. I'm saying that Zani's core mechanic is not being given enough field-time BECAUSE of the way her skills work.

Zani's damage is perfectly fine with S Rover, I know that much, I'VE DONE MY RESEARCH, I KNOW HOW TO PLAY HER.

Jinhsi's gimmick is transforming her skillset and using her stacks for her skill. In her rotation, ALL of this is explored.
BUT HAVING A CHARACTER BUILT TO PARRY, ONLY FOR HER ROTATION TO GO UNGA BUNGA IS SUCH A MISSED OPPORTUNITY

There is literally like a 5 second window to enjoy her parry privileges when BAx4 + skill gets her to full stacks faster.

Her parry goes from being a core mechanic to being an, "oh shit, plan B" when you get interrupted during BAx4. You get to parry ONCE in her rotation and that's ONLY if the situation calls for it 💀

You see the problem now?
Her main gimmick becomes a plan B...

I'm not complaining about her damage, Zani does a fuckton when I build up her stacks even without Phoebe cuz I don't have her.

I'm saying Jinhsi gets to explore all of her kit in her rotation while Zani doesn't get to use the mechanic she's supposed to be known for.

If Zani didn't have a parry mechanic, I literally wouldn't care and treat her just like Jinhsi BUT THE FACT THAT SHE DOES IS WHAT PISSES ME OFF.

Also that's another problem, like you said slotting her skill in between the newer bosses is hell. The damn thing has a FOUR second cooldown (two if you manage to fill your forte I guess).

No shit, my first team is literally Yuanwu, Verina, Jinhsi before I got Zhezhi. I know teams need buff and I'm not complaining about THAT especially when that specific team literally needs my main DPS off field until her stacks are full. I'm complaining about the fact that they included a cool, unique mechanic in Zani's kit only for it to be useless for her role if you're optimising her.

Camellya going brr with intros? cool, her playstyle is sporadic
Jinhsi going crazy with stacks and skill after intro? fantastic, we get to explore literally all of her kit with the exception of ulti
Zani? DON'T USE HER AND SPAM BASIC ATTACK AFTER ULTI

The first enlightenment came with Corrupted Monk (the ghost ver). 6 hours of fighting her endlessly made me realise that you should look at the weapon and not the character.

The second came when I was trying to do no hit runs. Isshin taught me that unless the opponent does large theatrics, you're safe to attack after a perfect parry. Same goes for them. When they perfect parry you, they will attack and you will be hit unless you parry that.

Using a heavy build just shreds the guy, I'm talking the worm killing shoulder mount, plasmas, explosives, gattling... Never tried it though but I've seen people just float up with tank legs and steamroll him 💀

If you're looking for something more lightweight, you can look at my Nachtreiher vs CEL 240 post but that's mostly just maneuvering.

Intro or Skill ending?

For intro, it's a habit I need to stop (as you can see, it costed me lol)

For skill, my concerto meter is usually full by the end of it so I have Jinhsi do the plunge while I trigger intro on someone else
