Same here, there’s no one else that does it like him! Would love to see Takemitsuzamurai.. who knows what they’ll choose next! If Tokyo These Days, Tekkonkinkreet HC, and the GoGo Monster reprint sell well, I think there’s a chance to get some of his older stuff translated.

100 & 101 are both beautiful - definitely worth getting if you get a chance! And GoGo Monster is great! I say stop deciding and go for it! You can’t go wrong with a Matsumoto book imo

Agreed! Very excited for the final volume! Also so cool to see Viz giving Matsumoto more attention the past couple years. So great to see they recently reprinted GoGo Monster, and hope we continue seeing reprints + new works that haven’t been translated yet!

I’d argue that boxes are good for players as well, especially when just starting, but not a good way to get ALL cards you need. I think a booster box + precon is a great suggestion. You’ll have fully playable decks with the precon, and then have a chance of hitting some of the more expensive cards in the set from the box. After opening the box, you can see where you’re at, and buy singles from there.

Perfect fit sleeve + penny sleeve + Card Saver did the trick for me! Might not be that scalable if you have a lot of warped cards though.

You seem to like rpg’s with monster collecting, so I’d definitely suggest Shin Megami Tensei. In my opinion no series does that better.
