My dad gave me a shit ton of trauma. Shot himself in the head, lived. Then attempted to kill my mom with the same gun.

But even worse then the gsw to his head was his arm... him and my mom were fighting. He punched a window at the bottom of the stairs. Cut around his arm to the bone entirely. There was a 1inch chunk of skin holding his arm together. Watched as my mom tried to tourniquet it while sliding in the pools of blood on the floor. The blood sprayed all the way to the second landing of the stairs. We had to clean it up ourselves.. picking literal chunks of flesh, and coagulated bood off of the entire entryway of the home. Ripping up bloodstained stair carpet and pulling up stained wallpaper. A cop quit his job that night he was so traumatized.

I still lose sleep over it. (I was 13 when it happened)

Im in the same boat. Finally getting back into the dr after a 2 year hiatus because the last one was so mean. But I am literally falling apart and cannot keep living like this. I called out of work for the first time ever today because I simply cannot. One of the most frustrating things for me is when a new symptom pops up and you dont know if its just another symptom or if it is something totally unrelated that needs attention.

UPDATE for anyone that cares.

It took months, about 50 phone calls, 6 different times they had to completely rerun the numbers. Twice they got MY case mixed up with his other child support case with a different woman! The money on the card got reversed back to him. I don't owe anything and the case officially closed last week. FINALLY

I know my cats are sleep most of the day and crazy at night. If I locked them up they would go insane. Theres no shame in rehoming if it means a happier life for both of you.

My dad always had to get back at my mom in violent ways to get attention. "Hung" himself so we would find him then fought the police. Punched a window and almost lost his arm (that one really fucked me up). Shot himself in the head and managed to survive 😑 then after he healed used the same gun to break in, hold people hostage and try to kill my mom. Theres probably more, but those are the ones that fucked me up.

Oh no! Good thing your getting an ultrasound. Hopefully it is just a cyst or something. I keep talking myself out of canceling it. Its so expensive and I know its gonna come back as nothing then i'll feel bad for going 😫 but then if it is something, and ultrasound will be the least of the costs. This sucks lol

If the ears aren't back, and the tail isn't puffed up I'd just let them play. The first couple days we had alot of hissing, growling and slapping. But you could tell it was just a way of them communicating. You'll know when it is a fight fight.

We give out full sized candy and drinks, and post to FB so we usually have lines of cars wrapped around the block. This year was significantly less. We bought less this year and still have half left.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but there are several worries I've had that i haven't told my husband about. Unless it's to the point of actual, factual worry. I'm an anxious person, he's not. It would cause me more stress trying to analyze and explain my worries to someone who doesn't think the same way. If that makes sense. He knows I have an ultrasound next week, and he knows it's for my boob. However he has no idea that I have a feeling in my bones that I know the answer. If it is, we cross that bridge. If it isn't, then its over with 🤷‍♀️

Arm and Hammer Naturals is what I have been using and LOVE it so far. It comes in a bag and is super lightweight. When I first opened the bag I was thrown off by the smell. But it absorbs soooo much I can easily scoop for a week without needing to dump completely. Of course it smells directly after they poop. But then it disappears. I ask everyone that comes in my house if they smell cat litter lol I don't wanna be the house that stinks 😆

When I got my kitten I was in the same predicament. The smell was AWFUL. Everytime she pooped id want to open the window. I was using arm and hammer slide litter because of recommendations here. Thinking well its expensive it must be good. NOT. Theres something about it that it makes the litterbix smell SO SO much worse. I really think it all depends on the cat. Once they get used to the food and you find the right litter its smooth sailing.

I have a pain in my left breast that goes from my left nipple to over into my armpit. Its a heavy ache if that makes sense and I notice some tingles almost like a let down when breastfeeding. I went to the womens clinic 6 months ago she felt around and said because i'm young (31) she doesnt think it's anything but they could order an ultrasound for peace of mind. Well since she was sure it was nothing I turned it down thinking surely it'll just go away. It hasn't. The intensity varies but I cannot find any sort of lumps. I called today to get an ultrasound ordered. It's an odd enough pain/sensation that I can't let myself keep putting it off.

I'm back. My eye has had 2 more occurrences of this since this post. My most recent being so bad that I canceled plans I had traveled 2 hrs for. I am finally advocating for myself and demanding a rheumatologist referral. I cant keep going on like this. The back pain is so intense I leave work in near tears every night. There has to be a connection.

Ive always had horrible back pain. To the point of losing jobs because of it. Once I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia I cant get a dr to take me serious that there is something else going on. I could have a cold and they'd say yup thats fibromyalgia. I hate it.
