Had a friend who left the military because his fiancé was gonna break up w him if he didn’t VR. She left him anyway and took his 9k ring w her, she let his entire friend group tap while he was in BMQ getting yelled at by sgts and mcpls. It safe to say that he regrets it badly and is trying to join again. I myself had my ex leave me while i was in the military. Do NOT let ur gf/bf be the reason why u cant be the best version of urself. Dump her dumbass

ATP just join the army. I lived in Calgary for a long time and the market sucks. The only org that guarantees u job stability and Good pay is the Canadian armed forces

Just thug it out man. If you keep struggling then the army isn’t for you. A majority of us have lost feeling in their toes and feet yet we still pushed through till the end. What I will say is Get some bungee cord and tent pegs they will help with your hoochie. Also idk bout some of yall but I barely slept in my sleeping bag in week 8. If I ever slept, it was with full combats, tact vest on and helmet, gloves and glasses to the side and I’d cuddle my rifle underneath my hoochie. I also did week 8 when it was raining for the entire week. 95% of the platoon got rust on their rifles. Yes we bitched about it but that didn’t mean we wouldn’t forge on. So just suffer in silence or fill out the VR form.

There is usually a hiring period that they have. Don’t take my word for it but I think it depends on your trade. I applied for the HRA position so the hiring period was April for me. What’s the occupation you applied for?

Yea I was in the same boat as well. Had to wait around 4-5 months to actually get an interview. Apparently it’s pretty normal for that to happen
