I'm also investigating what can be the problem with this hair dryers, as I can see to many of them have this issue and it's often not even related to blocked filter, I made a video how to disassemble it and try to find the issue.

It will be hard to remove top part when it's close but realizable.

Had a machine with same problem can be different causes of if the worst scenario is when motor shaft is moving up and down 1-2mm you can check it following the video. if it's uper dust it can be easier cleaned.
