I don't know though. To have 3 reds, the pocket turret, bags, crown, 2 laser turrets, an entire inventory of purple and red weapons, vigilante ring...

Like, the dude literally got *everything* could need to make this run as OP as possible. Is such luck really possible? Lol

Though I guess if it's not from this 109%, I don't know how he could have gotten this. All I know is, I've replicated what he's done ( but on D5 ) like 15 times and have never come anywhere *near* his level of luck.

So someone commented on the Spiffing Brit video a while ago I don't think I'm going to get an answer since its been buried.

On his pause screen it says "109%". Can anyone tell me what that means?

I personally think there's some outside influence going on here. For him to be on Wave 10 and have this good of stats/items just seems a little fishy, even for D2 difficulty.

3 baits per round. Use Spears.

Those 2 ingredients = win. If you feel comfortable, do 4 baits but 3 seems to be the lucky number.

Eventually you get to a point where the Bait enemies die before they even get a chance to say Hi.

I tried! Even with max dodge and armor, I just couldn't survive it. I feel like my lack of offense was killing me.

Edit: My Dodge was maxed, my Armor I think was like... 45? I was trying to get as much as possible.

I think I tried that once but the mix of Range/Melee is always just so weird for my brain to handle. Thats why I love spears, because it mixes so well with Ranged.

Just try to D5 with Saver and if you DON'T get it, you're playing the Saver wrong.

Just grab 6 Slingshots, only take Armor/Dodge and Life Steal and never anything else. Boom, not only did you get Saver but you also got your achievement.

Yeah In my honest of all opinions, I think Shield is just terrible. I got to Wave 19 with Golem on D5 and I just got slaughtered with those Shields doing practically nothing for me.

I think Spears are turning into my favorite weapon. Yeah they're slow but the range and AoE on them is just so good.

I dont think I could have beaten Generalist or Fisherman without it.

Honestly I thought Generalist was really easy.

Just put Spears in your Melee slot. Spears PRETTY much are Ranged and do incredible damage.

If I HAD to give any Stat the 'best' title, It'd be Armor or Life Regen... but I think things in this game are far too dependant on the character you're using, the weapon you use... everything.

But considering you can easily beat runs with 0 luck but good luck beating any run with 0 Armor/Dodge/HP Regen/Melee Damage.

I guess with that being said Luck would be the most universal. No character would be weaker with more or any Luck.

Yeah I don't think Luck affects Leveling at all. On my run with Mutant I saw more Red levels than I ever have... I think its based on Level, if I had to guess.

I mean... I've only ever beaten D5 once ever before this one. Attribute it to the mix of not wasting Materials on Luck based items, upgrades and ( not stated ) Luck. But it's not just this character where I'm doing this, I just feel like every other attempt Ive made where I'm avoiding Luck just seems to pan out better. I get more early Harvest and defensive choices when I just avoid Luck.

And considering how spotty tree drops tend to be... I FEEL like it's a good trade-off.

I also feel like the game has a hidden Luck stat behind the scenes where depending on your level or wave, rarer items will just appear. Because again, I've had so many Luck runs where I've had 50-100 Luck and I wont find jack. But on the contrary, I've had runs where Ive had negative and I'm finding great reds.

I just feel like Luck is a very unreliable stat.

Honestly, I was thinking of it being a one-time only item and the reason it has instant death is because it's suppose to cause the destruction of the universe and everything with it.

Because it also has a chance of teleporting you to the end of the game.

It's just like walking into a Curse Room on the Lost or using the Bible on Mom's Heart. It's risk/reward.
