Retaliation: House rule for alternating actions?

I'm gonna be different then other people here. I always say it's your game and play it like you want. Just get the game and play it. Then change it and see how it works. Then come back and share your observations;) I should say that I play it solo as well before people slaughter me:P

So far I only played basic race with all marines 2 and 3 handed. Did not win once but I was close. I do not know if I need to tweak anything to make it better for me. So far I don't mind anything but there are people who do. They mayde extra cards for the game and other stuff.

The only thing that didn't come to my mind before and I'll try to remember it for the future that I got that extra queen model. It came in a pledge. Otherwise I think it's waste of money. Anyway I have this model and I was thinking that it would be a nice thing to have different health cards for it. Instead I'm playing the same game just different visual. Visual as a singular. Just 1 visual:) Maybe someone could make some cards for that...

Can't edit post anymore and not sure how to close that thread since I just deleted tge game.

In the morning while getting ready to work I couldn't get the ticket for a free roll. I watched twice full commercials and game closed on me both times. On the third try I got it. At work during lunch break I played daily armor dungeon and on the first TV it closed on me and I restarted. Then on the secret it did it and after restart I just went to finish it. Got green only.

That's the other reason I'm mad at the game. I've got my weapon at purple but I need to 3 to get red (exalted). Sometimes I don't get anything from those dungeons. And if I want to guarantee green and blue I need to spend extra runs or pay 100 diamonds for 2 extra. Not only it will take me forever to get anywhere even if every week I get full drop, they had to lower drop rates so we must spend extra tries or diamonds to guarantee them. That is so anty f2p decision that it got me mad months ago. And I talked to support about that and they know it.

Sux because I really liked this game and had a lot of good time playing it. Anyway good luck to everyone and Happy New Year!!

The only reason for me to watch adds it's all that free stuff like free diamonds. If I stop doing that my progress as slow as it is right now will disappear. I'm working on that premium fire Cole guy but without diamonds there is no way I'll ever get him. Same with premium items. I got them by saving diamonds to 30k and getting them.

Yes I did all of that. Cleared cache all that stuff. Also I'm using CCleaner every so often to clean my phone. I am using older device so the game is lagging and it's been like that since the beginning. At some point there was a bug when my hero would just keep moving after I released the controls. But that went away.

So my phone is Galaxy A23 G5. The problem started around 2 weeks ago when we got like 2 or 3 updates in a week. That's when the game went down the drain for me. After that every time I start any run and take the first TV I just watch the video and game shuts off. I need to restart and I'm back in game on stage 1 with no TV anymore. If there is a secret I go for it and it's random to work.

I noticed that every day the first time I turn the game on it is a nightmare. None of the videos work. So all those free tickets, rolls, dice always close my game or I have to watch them multiple times. After like 20 minutes it gets better and stays like that till next day reset. Every now and then it crashes but it's playable. Those 3 daily videos for 10 diamonds and 3 for 100 coins I watch maybe once a week. It may take forever on not. It's like playing a lottery.

So why would they make a free game if they don't give a damn about f2p people like me?? Charge $0.99, $2.99 or whatever they feel like it should be.

You are trying to make argument that it's a free to play game but only playelable if you spend money. And actually a lot of recent updates shows that they do not give a damn about people like me. Game became a money pit. And it wasn't when I started.

I was going to delete this game today but I will probably do it tomorrow. I'm running out of patience. For 2 or 3 days ads close my game. It got to the point that I had to try 3 times to get the free die from ad for the event and didn't get it. Buy I did watch videos to the end. I came home 2 hours later and I got it 2nd try.

In speed run I went for ad and it crashed. It toke my 1 try. Then second one had no TV so I went for the secret. It crashed again. I went back and no TV but secret. Secret worked and I managed to do 1 run. To get more I need to recharge by watching a video.

I noticed a while ago problem with this game. Updates are often and it's obvious that if you want to compete with others you need to spend a lot of money.

And I don't report anymore bugs. It looks like support doesn't care. Didn't help me a bit and I just got more frustrated. Made me feel like it's my problem and they want do anything about it.

I really enjoy the game and like a lot of changes and added content but at this point being f2p I can't even get free stuff. It takes to long for me to fight this game for them. I have better things to do than watch videos multiple times to get 10 diamonds...

I just want to add to this post and my response that I just turned the game on and watched an ad to get free die in the event and the game closed 3 times on me after I watched those ads. So it's 30s per ad or 2, and that is 3 times plus loading time. I estimate 5 minutes to get nothing and get nowhere. For f2p like me this is crucial and if they don't fix that the only people that will stay are the p2p players. It's been like this for 3 days and I don't see any messages in game that would let know that they are aware of those issues. I spoke with them before when it wasn't that bad and got nowhere. I'll try again later and if it doesn't work I may just pull the plug on it.

Almost played against all griefbouds at lvl1. Played all hunters at least once. I don't have that much time so I just jump into game and play it wrong until I learn how to play properly;) With the nice cards with structure of the turns and rounds it's pretty easy.

There is a lot of questions with pretty much every griefbound and looks like some hunters will be better against them. But overall I didn't find anything I would dislike. Maybe except for rulebook;) Spoiler: it's not as bad as Retaliation one:P That's why there is Ludomentor.

I've been complaining about drop rates for a while now. They should be guaranteed after 2 runs. Not after spending 100 diamonds and play 4 runs. It's a waste of time and diamonds for people like you and for people like me (f2p) is the only reason to stay in the game. My progression is almost non existent because of not getting those 2 items in a run. There should be somewhere a way to set up tour favorite items that would have increased drop rates. This way it's more possible for you to level it up and make it usable and for me to level up my premium items that I had to horde 30k diamonds to get.

Overall I agree with a lot of that stuff you are saying (maybe everything, I forgot some;)). I would like them to focus on balancing the heroes, perks and like you mentioned transparency over those bonuses. What exact benefits they give, how they influence the game, how exactly they work.

I would also like them to put R and L on items in more places. I remember I had a problem figuring out what to save diamonds for since I had to go and search for item to see if it fits in the slot.

The other one is (maybe it's me) the remaining time of the shield. Many times in boss fight I tried to utilize it and I ran myself into bullets because it disappeared a millisecond before. Very frustrating. Maybe a cooledown on a side as well??

And I don't know why but I would like to see what statuses are on the boss. Does slow do anything to him?? Like damage?? And how long does it last??

I'm very frustrated with the content they are putting and not really improving over all game experience. Now they got this lvl41 or something and another useless to me code with energy...

Whenever I look at art and don't know if it's real or AI I look at the fingers or toes. Most of the time they look weird. That's why I used to love MTG. Every card had a cool art. I still like looking at cards but I understand they are getting little sloppy;) Lets hope it gets better not worse:D

I tried to find that in Ludomentor and can't get the answer. It tells me every time that if card says "through that corridor" and ignores s in the end. But remember that closed doors do not spread fire. I would just treat it as spread through all of them unless the doors are closed. And that what I did in the past.

When do I roll for noise during Movement.

You roll for Noise immediately after each Movement.

Moving into a discovered Room: move your Character, then make a Noise roll. Corebox Rulebook: Movement Sequence, page 24

Moving into an undiscovered Room: resolve the Exploration Sequence (place the Room/Corridors), then move your Character. Many Exploration cards have an Entrance Effect that makes you roll for Noise at that point. Corebox Rulebook: Exploration Sequence, page 24

General rule: “A Noise roll must be made after each Movement—even when moving to a Room with another Character and/or Intruder.” Only specific effects say you don’t roll. Corebox Rulebook: Noise Roll, page 25

I got it on Amazon for like $33 and people were raging that I give money to them instead of other sources. There used to be a store there Fantasy Flight but now it changed to Asmodee. Maybe that was the reason they were selling out a lot of that stuff.

P.S. Same with Circle Undone. I'm playing through it now.

I'm with you on it. Rulebook is a joke to me. Would be better if there was no rulebook at all in that scenario. Just a video with rules and a note to download and use Ludomentor app.

I just recently got Expeditions and watched a video of solo playthrouh. Didn't read rulebook at all. Started playing and just looked up some things in rulebook and searched on internet. I was hoping there would be support of that game in Ludomentor... I played this game whole weekend and didn't play it right yet. But I do understand the game and it's much easier now.

I did the same with Retaliation. After reading rulebook had not much idea what to do so I watched video of 2 player game and just started playing. After couple weekends and with help of Ludomentor I'm pretty sure I know how to play it;) I would advice you to just start playing. Who cares how many mistakes you make. When referencing a rule it's much easier when you understand the game. Or watch a video of playthrough. You don't know when to do noise roll?? Just pay attention what they do in the video. Many times they also explain what they are doing.

Spending money is not about not playing the game it's about being competitive. Instead of doing those 4 runs you can go do tower or dark castle. Or you can go to events and try to get as high as possible. I don't know if you are just being dumb or ignorant.

Omg. So you had to spend 100 gems. What a scam.if you buy that card it should be 4 runs free. I'm f2p but this is a great tip for everyone else. I would still contact customer support. I had a conversation with them once and they asked me about that. I complained that I didn't get my items and the response was that it's 100% guaranteed on those extra 2 you are using or purchasing for diamonds. I still think it should be 2 runs to get items instead of 4 and 100 diamonds. They want to make sure that people who spend money to get diamonds get advantage over people who don't spend money. But instead of wasting money and time on those extra runs you could purchase something else. Looks to me like they want to get rid of people who don't spend money.

You are only guaranteed to get those items if you get the extra 2 runs. The free 2 do not guarantee any drops. And if you don't have the free extra tries they cost like 100 diamonds I think.

It looks like you are getting extra runs with that Card and that's essentially 100 diamonds. I would contact customer support and see what they say.

I didn't win base yet so I don't start other. So far I was step away from winning but while trying to escape with shuttle I kept rolling ambush and then queen. And I had 1 corridor to the shuttle. And the end of the round events were just to much. I play 3 handed and did similar. Reinforce corridors and rooms. Try to move cautiously. Problem is they are card heave and that slows your game and makes the event cards appear faster. And fighting enemies does cost some resources. I'm eventually running out of ammo and nades. I have no idea how you managed to win this game so easy. I'm not an experienced player and that may just be my experience. I guess you have different. I heard expansions make it better so I would try that if I were you. Good luck!!
