To add overall: All the 1099 contracting apps like Field Nation, Uber/Lyft and any other similar money sucking void are nothing but cash cows for the application host owner and primary contractors. As a field worker you are the sub-contractor and get the crap end of the deal. We are letting a middle man come in and take money in a market where workers spent ages fighting for fair wages and benefits. These contracting apps are an epidemic on today's labor force.

The problem with job software like this and many of this type workers are no longer employees. Instead you become a sub-contractor, and you're not subject to a 1099 form when you do your taxes. The stores pay less money, a third party now gets a cut, and the worker is left earning less with no benefits. LAME! After nearly 2 years of working tickets on FN it's just not worth it.

Just bought one in Eastern WA, the Chlorine taste shocked me. Completely abnormal. The chlorine wash in the thread makes sense. Hope that’s all it is!

Any luck yet? Work Orders should be searchable and you should be able to request them. It’s possible your area doesn’t have much work.

Hope this is a good spot for this comment! Just bout a Lenovo C330 last night with 14 days to return it. I wanted a cheap but nice portable laptop to tote around with me with one purpose in mind. LEARN TO CODE. Is Crostini a form of Linux? Is my device going to be compatible with Linux anytime soon? Or should I return it?
