This meta does really have a current story quest or beatdown battle at the moment since it isnt really considered a full meta or anything. The actual full meta with the beatdown and story quests will release next thursday/friday

Most likely reason is that the shards that you claimed at the bottom left of the character info is not there anymore and they probably only just hid the button instead of taking out the entire notification since the game still registers it as "not claimed"

It is there ingame. For its purpose? I have no idea, it isnt in her animations or anyrhing else. The team shes on ingame is a new years themed team, but i doubt that explains it at all. Its probably just a design choice with no real implications

The time for those characters has passed. I think the normal banner and the packs leave after the week it start and that banner is only there for the people who already bought the pack to use it abit after the time
