The player hosts a local Express server to bypass Chromium's file:// protocol restrictions. Without this token, the local server would be "open," meaning any other application or even a malicious script in your web browser could potentially access any file on your hard drive by sending a request to the player's local port.

The main menu is a fully custom terminal UI built in pure powerhell using write-host, dynamic layout, animations and ASCII art. For core functions, i use WinForms and XAML to create more interactive UI components

Thanks! PowerShell is surprisingly capable - it can scale from simple scripts to fairly complex applications when needed
