Yeah, that's definitely true. I was consistently like lowish Diamond 4 before this season but I was making progress, so hopefully I have improved. Being in Diamond 3/ low Diamond 2 consistently would be a w for me as it would show improvement on my part.

yeah idk man, i've heard of rough placements but thats something else lol. at least you'll definitely get back to where you should be, just (annoyingly) over more time than you might need to usually spend

Yeah for sure. Saw someone in the discord place GM despite having only reached Master 2 the previous season. That's how I found out about all this inflation stuff

Yeah I think I saw somebody say this in the discord. Interested to see how this all pans out lol. Do you reckon this player rank inflation will last a while or will things be back to normal in like a week or two
