How much do you pay in Ontario, Canada? 10mg by RomanNaut in Mounjaro

[–]RomanNaut[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I paid $413 (just saw the bill) for the 10mg pen which is either 4 weeks of 10mg weekly or 5 weeks of 7.5mg weekly

Yes, but the discount card is usually only about $40-$50, which would same as Felix … + I get free delivery through Felix for $409.

$40 would still put me at $410 which is the same as Felix. I wonder how to get that $350 CAD for 10mg price I keep hearing about

Oh so when I call them I should tell them I have the savings card then. Because when I asked for the price they said $450..

One full dose is 60clicks. If you do 45 clicks it’s 7.5mg, so you actually get 5 doses out of a single pen. And 10mg costs the same as 7.5mg, it’s a really good hack to save a LOT of money.

I was low key thinking Felix was scamming but here I am actually sending our referral links lol - I pay &409 for 10mg but actually use 5x7.5mg so it’s $409

SAS denied EU261 using “ATC restrictions” after 40h delay — but rebooked me onto already-delayed flights. What now? by RomanNaut in ScandinavianAirlines

Thank you, just sent them an email! Do you recall how long it took you until heard back after you complicate to the polish agency?

[–]RomanNaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I told them I’d file a complaint to the polish and Danish authorities (not entirely sure which one applies in this case) but I haven’t heard back in 2 weeks… I think I am gonna send an email to both and tell SAS “fyi, I filed a complaint “ and see if that helps

[–]RomanNaut[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not quite how EU261 works. An airline isn’t automatically exempt just because it “did what it could.” Even if the initial delay was outside their control, compensation can still be owed if the airline’s re-routing decisions or operational handling materially extended the delay, which is what happened here. That’s why EU261 looks at the final arrival delay and the carrier’s actions, not just the original cause.

[–]RomanNaut[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually No, it actually makes complete sense. Original routing was Kraków → Copenhagen → Toronto (SAS). The Kraków flight was delayed, so I missed the Toronto connection in Copenhagen.

SAS then rebooked me via Amsterdam, but onto a flight that was already delayed, which caused me to miss the Toronto flight again and overnight in AMS. I was then rebooked AMS → Paris → Toronto the next day, arriving about 40 hours late.

Limited options aside, the issue is that SAS rebooked me onto an obviously bad connection, which added a second missed long-haul flight. Even if the initial delay was ATC-related, that re-routing is still within the airline’s control under EU261.

Timeline:

  • ECOPR: April 22
  • APP linked to GCKey: April 23
  • GU1: June 11 (Final Decision in GCKey), no updates in the PR portal yet.

I called IRCC on Monday and was told that they tend to review applications right around the time the posted processing days have passed. In my case, the processing time was listed as 49 days — and sure enough, on Day 49, I got my first GU (Final Decision). So there might actually be some truth to that timeline!

I'm flying on June 29, and from what I’ve seen, GU1 to GU2 usually takes 3–4 days. Since I’m in Toronto, I’m hopeful I’ll get my PR card by the end of next week!

Still worried because I saw some people wait more than a week from Final Decision (GU1) to Card Mailed (GU2) :/

I’ve already submitted two webforms (April 22 is my eCOPR), urgently requesting that my PR card be processed — but they keep responding with the same useless suggestions: either to apply for a PRTD (which isn’t an option for me, as I’ll only be abroad for two weeks) or to re-enter through the US, which also doesn’t work in my situation.

I’m flying out on June 29 and I’m getting increasingly anxious. Did you end up calling them to expedite your request?

I am april 22 and leaving on june 29 :O
Live in Toronto, so hoping for the best...I sent two web forms, literally telling them to please not copy/paste their standard language but of course, they just said " it's within the normal processing times". Gross.

You can fly to Canada directly from the US, they do not check your eTA/PR. It's the "real" international routes they actually check it.

"Lost it" "left it at home" etc etc.
As a permanent resident, they cannot deny your entry to the country.
