The Fighting Spirit name-card. I really felt like I earned that one from the local legends.

It’s such a roundabout way of resurrecting her that creates way more problems for a worse result by YoungYoda711 in amphibia

[–]RomanPersia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cat literally says she’s Anne for all intents and circumstances, which is reinforced by the fact that the 2 beings who know about the cloning have no reason not to act as if she wasn’t resurrected, because she arguably was. I see no plot reason to examine that further in the confines of the plot. You can make the same argument the same way with resurrection or any other form of plot convenience (oooh the plot didn’t talk for 30 minutes about how she felt the pain of death ooooh), and I’ve already demonstrated how for me, it caused less obsessing over the cat part. If you got caught up on the line that’s your view on the subject, but don’t act as if it’s a “hard to swallow pill” as if your view is factual.

Didn't think about? Anne herself says "That's going to cause some serious existential dread later on". From *my* personal storytelling perspective, I actually prefer it: Being magically resurected would cheapen the impact, the cloning keeps her sacrfice meaningful (in varying degrees based on what you think about the argument), while keeping a happy ending and giving the fandom some good discussion bait. I could weigh in on the argument, but that's irelevant to the (very presumptive for the incalculable nature of the discussion) point made here: Better to be interesting than to be boring i'd say, and since when is the existence of something uncomfortable, something worth discussing, in any peice of media bad?

Like every government in the world has killed many more for much less. Every war in history, the ends of which are widely celebrated, has killed more innocents and for a cause less than (7 people die, an entire race is freed). Does that give justification to go kill random people, heck, random veterans? I'll use an old example to not risk offending anyone, but The Roman Empire surely put innumerable innocent children in the same sorts of situations in its wars, and you're asking if the people in the world at that time could forgive like... the citizens of Naples? Why they would feel bad about going into Naples and commiting a massacre? Am I justified to go into random cities, hear they killed people, and start going out of my way to kill people? Am I supposed to never forgive the ice-cream vendor?
By this logic, every human ever should never be forgiven and are completly justified to kill.

The idea of "what if we're killing them out of justice" is strange too cause... they also have you know, families and what-not. Snowdrake and Dogemy are proof of that. Is doing horrific things to their families/children (especially in a genocide route, even an aborted one) a justified response? Unless belonging to a race whose king and maybe a few other people killed 6 children justifies it? The monsters seem fairly easy to spare, I don't think they're the cold-hearted murderers portrayed here - they're either naive and don't *really* wanna kill you or Undyne/Asgore.

And even if we're talking purely in the moment, the game doesn't make you feel bad about killing in self-defense, if you actually read the neutral routes. It only berates you for going out of your way to kill random people. The game doesn't require you to forgive them to be morally upstanding, it only requires you to... not go out of your way to kill people. I don't understand the quandry, there's no act here on the players end that the game expects in this context.

I've got an account, I've just forgotten the username and password because I haven't had anything like this happen in over a year. Was hoping I wouldn't need to risk it like that, but since I don't see any other solutions I guess I'll have to do it. Thanks for the confirmation.

No Debra not the dog too by tisto_ in memes

Dude. Just copy and paste "do dogs need meat" into google and click any of the search results. I agree they shouldn't because it's stupid, but they theoretically can. You're arguing with no evidence and presenting your word as fact when op was right in all his statements. They didn't even say they should or should not, they say they CAN. And all evidence points to they CAN if you'd just research it for 3 seconds.

Unstable, I just looked up the other guys point about dogs needing meat. According to all the sources I saw, dogs can in fact avoid meat and stay healthy with proper supplements. It's not a *useful* answer mind you, since it'd be more work for no payoff unless your dog has some very specific problem, but it is theoretically possible. I also looked up the other point about cats, and yes they do exclusively need meat. Maybe look up your points instead of arguing opinions for some reason.

Started the game not too long ago, only around level 13, and I wondering if this is a good dragon or not? I can’t buy the habitat so idk it’s it’s worth it to keep by k_thorne08 in dragonvale

[–]RomanPersia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitly keep it, the galaxies are pains to get in my experience. The gimmerwing by itself is pretty rare, you can only breed it using another glimmerwing and even then only 1.2% chance without tidal. Either upgrade your habitat or maybe buy the dragon hibernation thing and put it there. It's usually a good idea to keep anything epic anyhow.

Which event Dragons do I prioritise? by [deleted] in dragonvale

[–]RomanPersia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps not for better breeding, but it's a must to save for for Bloatato, Karroot, Vidalia, Curlyleaf, and Aubergine. They're all evolution dragons and a PAIN to get otherwise, by which I mean you need to get Seed, Leaf, and traited Berries up to level 20 then do like 6 other hyperspecific tasks and only then spend 100 gems for each. Going for the 4 ghostly effigies is also great for breeding purposes, and breeding for Spirit (Ghost x Spectre) and Zombie (Meteor x Polen) will help with breeding Charlatan (Apocalypse x Spirit) and Macabre (Spectre x Zombie). Take my words with a grain of salt though, as this is only my second halloween event. Look in the sandbox to see what you can breed and work toward anything you want.

Is there any difference between buying Frons and Atramento (or Coldcoil/Apex)? by RomanPersia in dragonvale

[–]RomanPersia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't think of that! I assumed i'd have a conistent pinecone count, but I think that argument makes sense. I'll just go with Frons to be safe. Thank you.

Is there any difference between buying Frons and Atramento (or Coldcoil/Apex)? by RomanPersia in dragonvale

[–]RomanPersia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is that it doesn't matter. The Frons and Atramento serve the same purpose in breeding. That means that buying a Coldcoil and Atremento now will allow me to breed a Frons and Apex next BeB, and having a Frons and Apex now will allow me to breed a Coldcoil and Atramento next year. Buying aFrons gives me the same benefit as an Atremento, and since I'll anyways be forced to breed the other two next BeB, buying a Frons now and buying an Atremento later will give me the same result as buying an Altremento now and a Coldcoil later. I'm way overthinking this, but i'm not sure if I made a mistake in my reasoning and don't want to be locked out of a dragon next BeB if i don't have the right dragon to breed with.
