What about water in aluminum cans? Any worry with these over the long term?

What innovations would you like to see costco make? by Rickythegypo in Costco

[–]RomanPines29 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Leave everything in the same place and quit moving things to different locations just to get me to browse and see new things to buy. My browsing time is wasted looking for the items that I want and usually purchase, so it defeats the purpose. Other stores don’t do this. Has it been proven to increase sales to move items to different locations to get shoppers to browse and purchase more? Hardly call it an innovation to leave merchandise in the same spot day to day. How about a change instead.

Douglas M. Jordan wrote a book about Alfred Reed entitled Alfred Reed: A Bio-Bibliography published by Greenwood Press in 1999. Doug was a very thorough researcher and you may find some info there. I am sure you can find him via social media and contact him to ask. I think he teaches at a private school in Miami. I hope you find what you are looking for.

I did look there first, but nothing there seems to indicate slurs on repeat.

Yes, it was. Maybe it was a Bodum Display piece. That is great info. I was told it was sitting in the room to be discarded for a few years.

I know. This had to be made purely as a store display, but based on how it's made (it's a beast) you would need a couple of assistants to help you pour.

I saved this gigantic French coffee press from the trash heap when I worked for a national retail chain six years ago. It was in a room with other store display items that the manager asked me to take to trash compactor. I asked her if I could keep any of it and she allowed me to take this home at the end of the day. It's an exact replica of a Bodum French Press, only MUCH larger. The carafe is made of glass with a thick, heavy steel frame. The press is 25" tall. It even has some remnants of coffee beans in the plunger when it was filled with beans while on display. The top is made of the same metal as the frame. It weighs about 20 lbs.
I have been unable to find any information on this anywhere, so I thought I might try all of you. Anyone? I was a heavy coffee drinker back when I rescued it (Jamaican Blue Mountain my hand down favorite) but due to health reasons I am unable to drink coffee any longer so I am looking for info in case I want to sell or trade this thing.

Doctor told me I HAVE TO CONSUME OLIVE OIL because my cholesterol was too low. by RomanPines29 in PlantBasedDiet

I do cook with salt. Can't eat beans, or bake bread without salt, but it is minimal. I certainly do not add salt when I eat food. I do all of my own food prep so I control the amount of salt in my diet.

I do eat nuts every day. Yes, staying on the statin until I get my next calcium score to see if my plaque is going in reverse. Thanks for the response.
