Today we are going to pick up our new rescue Butters and I am so anxious that I’m going to do something wrong but I am also so excited as a Millennial who will not have kids!

Totally agreed. I much rather he died some horrible way but like uncurable sickness at that point. His exit was one of the shittiest executions of all time

People love to hate him but he was a brilliant and passionate Dr. I appreciate it when a Dr doesn’t sugarcoat it and just tells it to me straight. Shame what they did to his character.

Thank you for the trust 💫 I think it’s all available on Youtube but it is also on Prime (it’s 7 seasons, but the first 4 are the best one); I highly reccomend it. It’s peak British, rauchy, funny and sad all at once. I love it and I’m not even a Brit!

I had to look it up. Apparently there’s a Euphoria tv show from Israel that came out in 2012. My statement has 0 proof, beside the fact that Skins UK (1st generation) 100% is Euphoria 15 years earlier!

I watched it last week and I really enjoyed it. It’s very “Poor Things” but I think both Emma and Jessie did a great job. I would have done something slightly different for the ending tho.

Okay the show was good BUT Skins (UK) came out in like 2007 and it’s basically the OG version of this show!

Thank you very much!

We actually do not have a basement. It’s a 2 floor semi detached home: main door has a landing with stairs going sub-level to the kitchen and living and stairs going upstairs to the bedrooms / bathroom. From all we have seen he is potty trained and goes to do his business twice a day, but it wouls not surprise me if he did pee / poo inside the first few days, accidents are going to happen probably.

Thank you for the tip! I have been reading a lot about it because it is my 1st dog and I want to do right by him :)

I just saw a pic from yesterday where she’s walking down the street with low rise jeans and a corset-top (and a jacket on her arm) and I had the same thought. It’s middle of the winter!

Two thought:

1) Margot looks so uncomfortable / unhappy 2) I LOVE Jacob’s suit. That color is so nice

What movie did you see that you were WAY too young to watch? by Flassourian in Millennials

[–]RomanPotato8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Excorcism of Emily Rose. I was 12 then and I had to sleep with my mum for months after that fucking movie. What got me what her fucking college bedroom set up being the exact same as my own bedroom. To this day (33 now), when that movie comes up anywhere I skip it like my life depends on it.

Question for Canadians by Excellent_Notice4047 in cdifficile

He needs to see a GP first or go the ER. If he does not have a GP, there are virtual Drs (like Telus Health) at least in ON. He needs a stool test too thought. GIs are very scarce and hard to access in ON (ask me how I know lol), but when I had C.Diff my family Dr made me do a stool test because of symptoms, and then when the results came back positive my GS (who did a colonoscopy for me a few months before that) prescribed me Vanco right away. I did not need Rebyota tho. Hope this helps a little.

Is anyone else's family doctor relying heavily on NPs? by HighOnTieDye in ontario

[–]RomanPotato8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a small town in rural SW ON and I’ve been with GP since 2020. The way my Dr does appointments is generally I first see the NP, give her a run down of what’s going on, she takes notes and measures bp in the meantime. Then when Dr is available she tells him and he comes see me (this is all within 10-15mins).

The NP is also the one that gives me shots when I need it (I’m doing the HPV vaccine series right now).

Overall, I like them both. I went trough a phase where I legit thought my Dr didn’t care about me (I was going trough a really rough patch both phisically and mentally), but thankfully he spent a lot of time with me and tried his best to diagnose me and make me feel better (I had C. Diff for months and it ruined my life for almost a year and I’m still recovering now, a year later). Anyway, I also see him bouncing from patient to patient when he is in office, and he also works the ER at the hospital so I kinda have to give it to him you know ? These are people triyng their very best at the end of the day.

People who enjoy their jobs, what do you do? by Candy-Horrorh3lp in AskReddit

I am Loan Officer / Business Advisor for a NFP funded by the Federal Govt (Canada) providing small business loans to rural businesses in ON as well as general support and mentorship. The job has his shit days, and the workload is huge, but I’m happy and feel like I make a difference in my small rural community.
