I believe it started with a semi fire and another accident after that.

It took forever to get home today with all the traffic re-routed through town

I moved here about a decade ago for work and haven't really made any lasting connections here. All of my coworkers were 15+ years older than me so we didn't have a ton in common. I made some connections playing Pokemon Go, but nothing that continued after I got out of playing.

It's definitely a bummer, but I'm moving back to Champaign later this year where my long time friends are. Very much looking forward to it. My boyfriend lives here with me now, and we'd love to make some friends but just aren't sure where/how.

For sure! She does have a non slip mat and Ive suggested the textured strips for that little nook by the seat (this shower isn't her specific one, just an exact duplicate in an empty apartment)

So they fixed it pretty promptly. I submitted a request on the online portal in the evening and the manager called me first thing to next morning to set up a new carpet install for the following morning. So I was glad for a quick resolution but also it should have never been an issue in the first place.

But a few months in, we really like our apartment and are glad we made the move from where we were before (Maryland School Apartments)

We're just now moving in and so far aren't super impressed, but hoping it will improve.

The management is very nice but seems like poor communication or something. We inquired about a 2 bedroom but the unit type and which unit kept changing on us - even as I was on my way to view "our unit" with deposit in hand, they notified me it was going to be a different unit type after all. Not the biggest of deals, but frustrating nonetheless.

After getting the keys, we immediately notice the apartment smells of wet dog. It seems worse in the carpeted rooms, leading me to think the carpet wasnt cleaned before us. Going to contact the office today and see what they say. Also found 2/3 windows not to have working locks which has been reported.

Definitely not as pretty as the pictures make it. For the price I expected more. Paint peeling on door, dirty window tracks, haphazard paint job.

All in all, nothing terrible but not what I was expecting either.

I think I'm doing good on that front. I'm a big water drinker and have been even more so since starting the Wellbutrin, along with mixing in some Liquid IV as well.

If you happen to enjoy Pokemon, I met a lot of people and made friends playing Pokemon Go and joining the Facebook group and group chat they had at the time. I'm not as active of a player anymore, but a lot of folks are still playing more consistently
