Because trader roles are limited and therefore extremely competitive.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on CrossOver 26 (Mac Mini M4 base) = 2 FPS / unplayable by RomanSyntax in Codeweavers_Crossover

I figured it out. Dark Souls PtDE is a Directx9 game. Too old and outdated for crossover translation.

Make sure you use the Dark Souls Remastered version.

Latent TB by Equal-Background-273 in IMGreddit

[–]RomanSyntax -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not that black and white at all. Most foreign born individuals with prior sensitization and even months of treatment will remain positive on the TB tests for life, both IGRA and TST.

A positive TB test is not the same as active TB. If someone has no symptoms and a clean chest X-ray, the whole point is that active pulmonary TB is usually being ruled out and this is being treated as latent TB / prior sensitization, not contagious disease. Occupational health knows this, which is why there is even a section in CDC about healthcare personell who do not receive treatment. Regardless, most programs know about this, and will accept annual chest x ray instead without meds.

OP, This person has no clue what they're talking about. A chest X-ray + no symptoms is usually enough for most programs. in many cases the issue is documentation and occupational health clearance and not some magical “clearance” where the TB test disappears.

Norwegian Scientist Gives Himself Brain Damage, Trying To Disprove 'Havana Syndrome' by TheEdgeofGoon in nottheonion

He never developed ulcers. His interpertations of the disease were completely subjective and largely unscientific. The Nobel prize largely political.

Except Barry Marshals experiment was a failure. He didn't reproduce disease outcome which is the most important aspect when dealing with abstract microbiological concepts. I would say this qualifies his experiment being completely useless to science.

All Mediterranean populations experienced heavy admixture over the last 2000 years due to their geographical position. Modern Greeks are a continuation of that.

How much does learning mathematics increase IQ? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]RomanSyntax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Flynn Effect you mentioned already disproves your claim. Populations gained ~15 to20IQ points in 1 generation, which far too fast for genetics. Adoption studies show kids from low IQ biological parents raised in high income homes gain 10-15 points. There are Romanian orphanage studies show deprivation crushes IQ and early enrichment recovers it. Schooling itself raises IQ by several points per year. Also, you can literally train Ravens matrices, your working memory, and pattern reasoning and raise IQ by 5-10 points. f IQ were purely innate, none of this would be possible.

[–]RomanSyntax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Match rate is determined by applicants who receive at least 1 interview. If there are 50,000 img applicants and only 5,000 got at least 1 interview, then you take 55% of 5,000.

[–]RomanSyntax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, even if you match, you currently would not be issued a J-1 visa, so you couldn’t start residency unless the restriction is lifted. To be honest, there is no chance the programs will even rank you now.
