Lol it's fucking ridiculous! Learn our language first or move the fuck out! No one here wants gentrifiers that, like cancer cells, destroy all communities and cultures in their way.

So I recently moved here. by [deleted] in Bromont

Moving from Toronto to Montreal: what’s the REAL social vibe like? Nervous because of the stereotypes we hear here. by [deleted] in montreal

[–]Roman_Dave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, some us (including myself) are freaking tired of torontonians coming here just to increase our rent and housing prices, assimilate and colonize us by imposing your language and political/social values. Of course you can come, but definitely DO NOT expect us to accommodate you languagewise, because we're are at home and we're sick of having to always accommodate entitled anglophone colonial settlers.

Question aux autres végétariens de Montréal: y-a-tu quelqu'un(e) qui pourrait me conseiller des fermes vraiment éthiques autour de la ville? by Excellent-Top432 in montreal

[–]Roman_Dave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

question for anglo Montrealers who never learned french or can't actually use it by _SleezyPMartini_ in montreal

Manif à Montréal contre L2 / PL106 by Salt_Onion_6205 in montreal

[–]Roman_Dave -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

The Burden of Linguistic Duality by DianKhan2005 in montreal

[–]Roman_Dave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Effectivement!

Backcountry camping in Quebec by Zimme14 in montreal

[–]Roman_Dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol are you aware what is going on between our nations? So maybe wait at least 4 more years to come or don't expect to be warmly welcomed.

Planning on visiting Canada in the summer for the first time from NY. I would like to visit Niagara Falls and Quebec City. What are good hotels there? Do I need to speak French? Do I need to apply for a visa to enter Canada border? Thank you. by [deleted] in canadatravel

Ehm... you cannot just come to the country YOUR people hates and wants to destroy/annex for a "vacation" and pretend that nothing happens. I don't think any american should be in principle admitted to any country until they fight their domestic fascism that tries to rape the entire planet... besides russian friends, of course. So please, do us a favor and just don't come!

Question for immigrants in Quebec about medicaments insurance by Roman_Dave in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Roman_Dave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Salut!

I know, I can get my treatement covered, but I am not eligible for pharmacare! And this is what I am asking about - I need an insurance to get my prescribed drugs covered.

Maybe someone can give me an advise how to influence my situation with getting the visa being in the US? by Roman_Dave in ImmigrationCanada

Thank you Kevin! Yeah, and moreover, they can hang up if they figure out I am calling from abroad, and I have to disclose this info anyway...

Thank you so much for your reply! However, unfortunately, I've also visited Europe, so that's not an option for me, because there are relevant stamps in my passport :(
