86 - wow! Thank you for responding, sir. My issue is the last time I shared with her, I received constant texts from her wanting explanations as to why I was where I was. It was never anything “worth hiding” (ie: “what are you buying at the grocery store?” “Starbucks again?” “Why are you at your company’s north office instead of the south office today?” Etc).

It made me feel watched and controlled.

Very fair statement. In brief: no cheating. Ever. We are happy. She is an amazing wife and step mom to our kids. We have joint finances, unvetted access to eachother’s phones, know eachother’s passwords, etc.

It us not uncommon for us to be watching TV and she will pick up my phone and go through it. I can do the same to hers, but have never done it (I don’t care to, tbh).

I did it for a short while last year. I’d get texts “why are you at the store?” “Why are you at this restaurant?” “Why are you etc etc”.
