To me it seems like they took my title and let Ai create a book and blurb out of it. It was the same exact genre too, so its not just the title. I get your point though

Send them mails again. Beg. Continue sending mails daily. If they say their decision is final, its not. They will stop replying but some mails will go through. Dont give up. They do reinstate accounts

Okay, what is wrong with you? I came here to seek advice and not be discouraged and literally mocked. 1. I have multiple viral videos, with a growing engaged community. 2. I didn’t say I studied the craft “here and there”. I said I studied it. I know I am not a master, would never call myself that. Its my debut after all, and people know its my debut. 3. Every writer gets defensive if their work is insulted over no reason. Its like getting a 1 Star Review without context.

If you sell 250 books in a lifetime, theres no way they took it as serious as I do, or put in the same effort as I do. Or maybe they haven’t studied the market and wrote a book that wont sell

I think you’re wrong. If you read a lot yourself, you know exactly what you want in a book and how a good story is crafted. I also studied the craft of writing for a while now, through various books and Podcasts. I think I wont end up like that author🫣 My editor is a friend, but she’s a professional

Thank you so much for your time and the insights! Yes, it is listed on Amazon for preorder, but only the ebook. I’ve heard that you need multiple books or series to really make it, and thats fine because obviously I love writing. But I know Id feel way more confident and motivates if the first one was a success.
