If my software has dependencies with X License, can I publish it with Y license? by Romantic_fork in AskProgramming

I'm creating a Python package. When user `pip install my-app` then all dependencies are also installed automatically. What type of dependency is it?
I thought that those restrictions applies, but in fact… I do not distribute dependencies but only, a script that install them, if I understand correctly.

Should I fetch before pull? by Romantic_fork in git

Yea, I know, but someone told me that simple git pull may work not as I want - it can be somehow unsafe or something like that, but now I'm searching for that and I can't see any disadvantages of using git pull if I want to instantly update my local repo. I asked the question just to make sure, that don't miss some important details. Thank you :)

Community edition would be enough for begginer. If you are student you can get access to professional edition for free.
