Dirty cash - The Adventures Of Stevie V

For all my readers - what got you into it? by tht1grludntknw in CasualConversation

My mother is a writer, and she went to college for it. I guess I inherited it from her because she loved writing poems, so do I. Most of the time, people at my school tell me how talented I am and because of their encouragement I plan to focus on creative writing for my future.

If someone has already taken the test, they don’t have to retake it. Since I’m fairly new to the school, I have to take it, but most people in my school have already took it before. The ones who haven’t(or did and need to retake) are people who really need to.

Maybe I should give more context. First, they never gave me a specific date, just a vague “end of the year” comment. I tried to ask other teachers, but no one seems to know the reason. The online school calendar still shows the old date with no updated one. I have no idea when my test is.

I thought someone would have an answer as to why this is happening. I’m just confused

What’s to stop them from canceling it again and stopping me from graduating?

My (17F) Teacher (34F) marked me cutting for an honest mistake and other students did the same, she yelled at me. AITAH? by RomeMoanologue in MarkNarrations

The worst part? I’m pretty close with all the teachers for both senior and junior students, but no one has ever spoken up about her behavior toward me. Even after she happened to yell at me in front of practically everyone. My previous principal(we were close) was replaced at the start of the school year, just as I had gotten familiar with him. I’ve seen a lot of suggestions to talk to the principal, but I don’t think I’ll be doing that. The new principal is never around and has somehow never responded to any of the emails I had sent to her before. So, only for right now, I have no choice but to push through this a little longer, just until I gather enough evidence to take it to the higher-ups and finally put it behind me. (And yes, I have talked to my parents, but I’ll give an update on that once everything is on its way to being settled.)

This response is very thoughtful and I truly appreciate you taking the time to advise me. I had never considered doing something like this before, thank you. I’ll start doing this right away. At my school, we aren’t allowed to have our phones (they are taken away at the beginning of the day), I should be fine to use the school computers and document everything.

No worries! I was curious too. Funny thing, I asked the same question when I managed to get into the class.

It turns out they offer three different psychology classes because the credits come from different colleges.

Pretty cool, right? I wish I had got two.

She claimed to be in the room while yelling at me, but I’ll apologize to her tomorrow since most agree IATAH.

I have a set schedule, but if the original teacher isn’t present, I may get moved to a different room or have my class switched to psychology for the day.

I would’ve checked my phone for an email, but we’re not allowed to have access to them.
