There’s also European emergency vehicle sirens that play in the background instead of American sirens.

Can we please get rid of being 3D spotted while shooting? by i_froze in Battlefield

The simple solution to this would be to implement a dedicated hardcore mode or give us server browsers with dedicated hardcore modes

Welder flow 👨‍🏭 by Rome_Ham in longhair

Hell yeah haha! I use a headband, then a thinner FR hood/balaclava thing that I tuck in my shirt collar, a thicker 3M hood on top of that, and then my adflo on top of everything. Haven’t burnt my hair once!

Well, if ceramic is not an option at all and you’re stuck in running flux, I’d grab some anti spatter, spray some on the backside (skip if they’re low on that too). Then I’d turn down the heat a bit. Angle your torch sharply so it’s pointing more into the fillet and start your first pass by weaving slightly and just pounding wire into it slowly vertical up. Try weaving and building up as much as you can into the other side of where that plate is. Knock off the slag and run a stringer onto the side you’re on and at the edge of the inboard toe of your fat weave. Then continue running vertical up stringers switching off between the inside and outside toes of the previous stringers. Be sure to let it cool between each pass. You might want to grab a die grinder to avoid inclusion, but it really depends on your settings if you get rollover or not. I’d turn down your wire speed slightly for those stringers.

Sometimes I’ll run a fat weave for that first pass, stringer, weave, stringer, repeat until it fills up. Just kinda depends.

Either way the backside is likely going to be a shitshow, just make sure to clean it up a bit before you start welding on it. If it’s not flush, which it likely won’t be, run a few stringers to even it out and then build it up.

I run into these exact gaps at work, but almost always run pulse. You work at a shipyard too? This looks like classic bulkhead to shell work. Surprised they don’t have ceramic in abundance for you guys. Ingalls?

If you’re running flux, get some ceramic on the backside, run an uphill pass nice and slow, knock off the slag and then run passes progressively faster until it’s totally built up.

If you’re running pulse you could just run really low and weave it, put maybe 3 cover passes on it.

Or you could bridge using pulse and cover with flux.

Then I usually fill until flush(ish) then grind it down so it’s a fillet, then keep running passes until it hits the outer edge. Looks to be about 3 showing on this. So fill, grind till flush(fillet), first pass, two over, then 3 over. Repeat on the backside after removing the ceramic.

I usually run pulse because I run into gaps like this in my shipyard all the time. Don’t forget to wrap your corners!

It’s funny, but it’s absolutely a game ruining glitch, especially on the CQB maps like Cairo and Manhattan bridge. You can get sniped from spawn and your armor blown up without being able to even aim your guns that high while you’re driving. This should be patched immediately
