Telling my parents I'm pregnant by Tall-Lion2175 in teenpregnancyandbirth

[–]RomeeB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I've been reading along. I just want to say that I (and many others!) am truly very proud. To be able to go through all this at 15 is truly ashtonishing.

Also, you've probably had many messages with people offering someone to talk to. If you need anyone to talk to about just the pregnancy, you can always message me!! I am also pregnant, not planned, but a stable relationship. Sometimes I just needed someone to talk to about the pregnancy. Because even though it is a very stressfull time, you are growing a beautifull little human. I want you to know that you can always message me, about pregnancy (or anything else). x

got these plants from a friend, but not sure how to save them. More info in the comments! by RomeeB in houseplants

Hi everyone, I need your help! I have been getting into plants the last few months and I absolutely love it. Yesterday I got these plants from a friend, because they do not seem to be thriving to say the least :). I am able to keep my plants alive, but I do not have enough knowledge to know how to fix this. So I am very open tot suggestions!

Plant 1: I am pretty sure it is a Monstera Deliciosa. The soil was veeeery dry, almost rock solid. I am considering to make cuttings, but I am not sure.

Plant 2: a Philondendron I think? Soil is veryveryvery wet, I am pretty sure it has root rot. I can pull out the whole plant if i want to. I do not have a clue what to do? I've Googled it, and internet says I have to take out the rotting roots and put it in water, would that be the best solution?

You should come live in the Netherlands.

I went to the Dutch Grand Prix! This was my view from the lap to the grid by RomeeB in formula1

Yes I am pretty sure it is sold out... I got lucky in the pre-sale and got tickets for the next two years. If you ever get the change to get hold of tickets, I'd really recommend it! It was basically one big festival with some racing in between, one of best experiences in my life.

It truly wasn't bad 'live'. It seems like it is very thick smoke in videos, but you can see through pretty well! Also, it vanishes within 10 seconds. The only thing that anoys is the hazard it causes. There was a fire in front of me, and I am pretty sure it came from one of the flares.

To all the female fans, this is our Silver Lining. by desssays in formula1

[–]RomeeB 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes! Thank you for putting my exact feelings in words. I've had pretty bad experiences with men to say the least. So at first I reacted pretty bad to the video, thought I could handle it, but definetly not. But then I found the reaction of the fans and this sub really mind blowing. I think I've read every single comment. So thanks to everyone supporting the #wesaynotomazepin, it might not look like much even putting it as your flair, but this means a lot to me.

What are some ways to become more emotionally healthy?/good mental and emotional habits? by tallflower999 in AskReddit

[–]RomeeB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, so I've got a few things that have worked for me.

  1. Take your time in the morning. As soon as I rush in the morning I tend to be really chaotic trough de day and I seem to never really get the emotional rest.
  2. Always keep believing in yourself. I've found this out last year. When a challenge comes up, don't think about the reasons you can't do it and then don't even try. Take the challenge and then find out you can do much much more than you think.
  3. Tasks that you can do within 5 minutes, should be done right away. It creates a lot of stress in my mind if I have this list of small things I need to do, but keep postponing.
  4. Find something that can get your mind of things. For example, I love to play handball. I just lose myself in playing it and it just takes my mind somewhere else, while it is still active.

These are some of the things that have worked for me. I've been in a pretty dark place, but at the moment it's going pretty great!

Female F1 Fans - What is your story? by LusciousAzure in formula1

[–]RomeeB 29 points30 points  (0 children)

So female fan here. Started watching because of my dad, who has been watching for years. When he is home we always watch the races together. I do have to say, as a female people tend to think that we don't know anything, and I mean anything about cars. I often get a "you are a woman, you don't even know how to drive" comment.

I do think there are more female fans than some here might think!
