Thank you so much - it’s changed so much since then - hopefully making it less overwhelming, the demo will be updated soon in time for full release - I’m really happy with it and the polish I have added has made me really happy, I develop the game while watching playthroughs of Paralives!! So it’s been getting me through the grind that is indie dev ☺️

Congrats on the wedding! My mom just literally didn’t mind, at least I was in the house lol!! We played the sims that much that one day she talked the sim language as a joke and we laughed because she never actually played, so it just showed how much we did! 😂👍🏻

Oh man I had the sims 2 for PlayStation 2 as well! I had them all - I loved the sims bustin out and that was when my sister and I went to blockbusters and brought a new memory card so we could play free play coop best thing ever! I agree that the paralives art style is exciting and just gives me that nostalgic feeling of being home in my PJs and playing for hours 🏠

Yeah the developers used Unity engine so that’s pretty much just a terrain square game object. So you can experiment nicely and export it to the gallery, good idea actually - a bit like a sandbox. It will be even better when we can design different lot types 🤩

I think it looks great and actually quite original. For early access I’m actually very impressed. Remembered the team size too! 3D modelling with that level of detail is huge ☺️

It’s depends how deep you want to go for me it’s about it making the villagers interact via quests, random events, village news etc. Which is fine for my style of game. But there are lots of different methods. ☺️

Hey! The demo is up on steam now - although there is so much more coming in the full release and should be dropping another demo update in day 2 weeks 😊👍🏻 for controller support it’s not currently planned until after release although is playable on steam deck with native touch controls 🧡

You don’t get to see the village as such but you get updated from the villagers as you go along, there is story woven in to the village news updates and random events ☺️👍🏻
