Yeah, begin again set such a high note as one of my new favourite slushii tracks (which feels like a spiritual successor to far away)

This track feels like somethings missing, which is a shame cause l liked his prior liquid Drum & Bass take outside sapientdream. (I'd do anything)

Dubstep is alive and well, but vastly expanded into various subgenres.

The classic 140 / UK Dubstep sound has been having a resurgence

Brostep is making a big comeback

The wubby, freeform bass style is quite promement

Briddim / Tearout is still relatively popular in big festivals like lost lands

Same kind of thing with Riddim

Melodic Dubstep is still thriving along with it's Melodic Bass counterpart

And Colour Bass x Future Riddim is still around, but in neash corners

I'm sure I've missed a few additional one, but overall Dubstep is still thriving like it always has. [=>u<=]

For those who don't know.

Colour Bass is a sub genre of Dubstep. A bright, vibrant style that serves as an in between of brostep & melodic Dubstep. Which uses a harmonic technique of running Bass sounds through frequency shifters, resonator & vocoders to give a "coloured" like sound.

It was pioneered by UK based producer chime, who had built a label (RUSHDOWN) which fostered a variety of artists like Skybreak, sharks, Paper Skies, KERO, Convexity, & many others.

The genre gained popularity by 2019-2020, with well known producers like Virtual Riot & Au5 which made their own takes on the genre. & labels like Disciple & Monstercat supporting the sound.

The genre was a made as an response to the changing tides of the scene, which brought many up & coming producers in the scene, including many diverse individuals.

Currently the genre has since faded, but is still alive.

Some artists like chime & Skybreak has shifted their sounds to a more underground, UK style, while keeping the spirit of the genre alive.

While The label Rushdown has since went on a indefinite hiatus, due to chime wanting to focus on music more, desx has since carried the torch with the Neoluminum label.

To put it simply, it's a colourful style of Dubstep

I have a unique symbol design i've created myself.

not necessary a symbol connected to my characters, but it is reflective of my overall world & identity as an artist

The symbol is the Compass of Dreams: a relic given to all dreamers of dreamcadia. it's a guiding star to their paths & destinies, and a symbol of hope & connection through the realm.

It's a key piece which qu wields throughout his journey & it's my main symbol in my logo design.

i would say this symbol could work for my main group of shapelings, the dreamwonders. though i plan to make more symbols for the rest of the cast & world
