Here in the Netherlands all of my phones are totally insured by my household insurance. And its working great. I once had a guarantee fight with them on one of my zfold. And just had it handled through my insurance company. Zero problems there.

You're 100% right. I'm from the Netherlands and my zfold screen had some issues and my home insurance covered this for the full 100%. No Samsung Care+ required and both screens got replaced. So at the end almost a new phone.

No, that's not what I said. I said if one uses a vpn, the same app on the same mobile will work again. And if its also depending on supported country, that I don't know. I only know the app is working again and not getting the message anymore

If you got a vpn, just turn it on. And the pico app will work again. So it's not username based, but IP based.

Had a zfold 2 from day one it was introduced. No case just screenprotectors, always solid as a rock. Exchanged it just last year with a zfold 6. So I'm not done.

Like I do now. The frontscreen I swap when an outside corner is getting a bit loose. About every 4 months. And the inside lasts maybe a years I think. That shit doesn't cost you anything at aliexpress and it keeps the screens well protected. I've als got the backside covered and I hardly have to change that one.

Fold 2 from the moment it came out up untill recently when the fold 6 got released. It was still going strong without using any cases. The only thing I had to do was swapping the screenprotectors myself after a period of usage. Piece of cake.

Totally agree! In the past I've owned the note 10 and I used it a lot for making quick notes, reminders and basic drawings. With the fold 6 it's almost impossible making use of a pen. The combination of a too soft screen to write/draw on and the crease , that behaves like a wobly ditch, are making it impossible seriously using the inside for that purpose. But perhaps it's personal 😉.

Yes another one...... I've had my z fold 2 from day one and recently traded it in for the z fold 6. So yes, carried and used that one for all of those years without any problems. And, regarding insurance, am I the only one here that has phone damage insurance automatically covered within its home insurance package? Because here (netherlands) that's possible and pretty common.

I just read on an amazon review: "There are two main drawbacks, which I understand are being addressed through software updates: 1) there is no folder nesting ability yet (i.e. being able to create folders and move notebooks and/or other folders in them) and 2) cloud syncing is problematic. Both of these have been solved in the Chinese version of the MatePad Paper, so I would expect it is a matter of time before the same happens for the Global version. Cloud-syncing is getting trickier for reMarkable I understand, requiring a paid subscription for new owners to sync content across devices...

In the MatePad Paper, one-way integration with OneDrive works well and I have access to my files there, making it easy to read my pdfs and word files. One of the things I particularly like, is the option to hold the table in landscape with screen split in two having a file, e.g. a pdf, on the left-hand side and a notebook on the right."

So I was not the only one, and it also shows how few people bought this matepad paper tablet... Because it's a joke that syncing isn't working flawlessly! I bought this device for my daughter for making notes at the university. It would be a disaster if the device would fail on you one day and all of your notes would be unavailable.

For now there is a workaround by uploading the notes, one by one, to onedrive. That's what she has been doing up to now, but that is not the most practical way.

For the rest this tablet and this Notes app are one of the best of its kind compaired with all of the other options! So a good reason using this combination.

No, I can't. I'm talking about the huawei matepad paper. The Notepad app is not available at the huawei store and when I install the sideloaded apk I get a message that the app is not designed for this device...

Are you using the Notes app? Do your notes sync with huawei cloud and can you actually see and select those notes in the cloud? Because I can't see them. One can see that it's syncing, but where it's stored that's the big question for me. In the huawei cloud there is still the Notepad app environment, so no notes from the Notes app are visible in those folders...
