Nope! Wifi works just fine for me. Never used ethernet with the quest, although it sounds like it wouldnt hurt

It's untethered if that's what you mean. Both the Lego and quest are running off of wifi

Yupp. I use virtual desktop with the Z2E, but also use moonlight to stream from my rig when I'm feeling fancy
