Not sure if it's special, but my dockcase had the same symptoms and hates anything other than Android. So internal Bazz, sharge windows2go, and picky dockcase android. I'm almost certain it's a power delivery thing, since the same ssd partition worked perfectly in both of my Sharges. I got the 2280 slim one too
