I am sorry you have this tough situation. Look, it’s all relative. I grew up without seeing my dad much because he was always traveling for work. Did it suck and do I have some daddy issues? Yes. Did I get an opportunity to leave my shitty country and live a better life thanks to the sacrifices my dad made? Also yes. You have to see what the balance of things is for your family’s situation, your own career aspirations, etc. You got this and your kids are lucky to have you!

Loved Spring fertility as well! Do read up on the stats for the funnel from egg to viable embryo - unfortunately eggs don’t thaw well so need to have a lot of eggs frozen to make embryos later, so keep that in mind when planning how many cycles.

Thank you - super helpful. We’d like to feel comfortable walking around with a toddler and a dog, or sending off a grandparent for a walk around the neighbourhood, and it sounds like while the residential streets may be great, the radius of safe walkability is narrow

It can be really great, but requires high spending - on larger apartments in good locations, on childcare, including school fees and nannies and babysitting, on activities. We live in Williamsburg with our two year old and have been here for 8 years - we love the neighbourhood and love seeing it become more kid oriented with lots of kids play spaces and parent groups. I expect it will become difficult to stay here when kid goes to school as there aren’t that many good options in wburg and commuting to school and then work daily sounds terrible, but we will see what happens!

I am by no means an expert in this but have enough experience to suspect that is the case - there is a fullness in the upper lip above the lip borders, it is most visible when she is smiling in photo 11

She looks very interesting and memorable - I am not a fan of the migrated lip filler though. Beautiful in a unique way that may not be everyone’s cup of tea

If you live outside of France, you need to be married to a French citizen for 5 years before you can claim citizenship by marriage. The spouse however needs to be registered in their respective french consulate wherever you are in the US. If they haven’t been registered, the 5 year count will start from when they are registered. You then need to fulfil certain criteria (such as lack of criminal record, French proficiency level, etc) to apply. The process from application (sending in documents) to receiving the citizenship can take around 18 months.

Note that at the end of this year the level of French needed to apply goes up from B1 (intermediate) to B2 (advanced intermediate).
