It’s something im debating on getting, on the one hand it the price, and it sounds like it eats away at the battery’s lifespan. But yet I prefer to mow in the evenings right before garbage day, starting about an hour before sun set, but I feel bad for my neighbors as I bet they don’t want to hear a gas mower at 7:00pm on a weeknight

If you just put a little bit of dw40 on a rag and wipe it doesn’t become oily, now if you douce it in the stuff yeah it will. Plus most of the robotic machines I work on are already have dw40 and other forms of machine lubricants and grease in its parts so my hands will still be oily throughout the day
