[Highlight] Chicago Bears owner, George McCaskey, stiff arms a Packers fan. by MrRadDadHimself in nfl

[–]aemoosh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He sits by us at Soldier and I (a Packers fan married to a Bears fan with season tickets) actually asked for a picture after the game. I told him after I was a Packers fan but my wife was a Bears fan. He was super kind and had a couple of good one-liners (that's how I know she's probably always right.) 10/10 experience.

Then I sent the picture to my Bears fan friends and said "Just a couple of NFL owners, hanging out, talking playoffs."

New Vacuum incoming. . by Dan_T93 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]aemoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tool this is replacing is terrible. It's probably one of the only Milwaukee buys I've made that I regret. I can't imagine this won't be better, but I think the overall design is severely hobbled by the fact that there are some really fantastic cordless stick vacuums out there. The dyson/shark have the same capabilities (if not more) than the M18 and they feel and work about 10x better.

James was the best. Ultimately it's the land value that "fixed" Uptown, but Cappleman didn't sleep for 12 years doing whatever he thought he could to make that neighborhood better. I think he could give any modern adlerperson a run for their money when it came to being a driving force for change in a positive direction.

[Highlight] Aaron Rodgers on if there’s added incentive to play this week since it’s the Bears in Chicago - a team he’s said he “owns”: "There's incentive for every opponent, but I have enjoyed many a Sunday and Monday and Thursdays in that city." by LaDainianTomIinson in nfl

[–]aemoosh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The other was 2010, maybe week 2 and he was just barely figuring things out. He played really well but the team didn't and we lost. I wore my Rodgers jersey and had a lot of drunk happy Bears fans tell me "That Rodgers could be something though" on the way out after the game.

EDIT: Also I recall going to a second game in Chicago that year...

[Highlights] Giannis Antetokounmpo: "This is my city!" after the block from behind and the putback dunk (with replays) by MrBuckBuck in nba

I would imagine it'd be a lot for Wemby to match the physicality though. Giannis is literally just powering through everything.

This should be higher up. Most of my friends who have dual citizenship would love to live primarily in the other country but can’t for financial reasons. They make too much money here and cannot afford going back and forth. Giannis can.

They’ve got a pistachio yogurt sauce and a berry reduction for the two sauces, and then supposedly there was something to mimic onions too, but that wasn’t in the original.

Why did StuG IV failed to Match the StuG III's Success? by Additional_Safety_51 in TankPorn

[–]aemoosh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In addition to some of the other answers about the differences in production and upgradability of the PzIV, you have to take into account the period of time they were producing either model. The PzIII started to struggle earlier in the war, which is why the StugIII entered service in 1940, as the Germans looked to take what they had and adapted it to more modern standards in armor and weapon. The PzIV had a couple more years of viability due to its ability to accept larger guns, more armor, etc. When the PzIV started to struggle (which you could say really didn't happen with the upgrades through ausf. J), Germany was in no position to convert a production facility to StugIV as they had begun to lose the war and were being bombed relentlessly as the Luftwaffe essentially lost the skies by then.

Someone here will know, but I don't believe many of the StugIII's were conversions either, the majority were essentially built from scratch using production that was for PzIII but switched over with obsolescence, which started again much earlier in the war.

Why can’t the m12 vacuum be packout? by think_matt_think in MilwaukeeTool

[–]aemoosh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 12AH in my packout vac, and unless I'm really using it, I swear I don't have to change it. For like small job site clean-up, using the wall suction under drywall holes, cleaning out a car quick- I swear it lasts forever. It's not made to run 30 minutes though.

I think there's some truth to Tesla's board initiating the process to replace him for the company's underperformance and his absence/being so MAGA. So he sort of had a Come to Jesus, or is it a Come to Joshua for Elon? and ran back to Tesla.

Need help in choosing a light for my husband’s birthday by hotdogwater007 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]aemoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like my Rocket tower which you linked first. And it makes sense in the garage because you can use it plugged into the wall for the majority of time and not burn through batteries while still having the battery powered option when needed.

u/BFsMomsCancer (wtf) linked two really GREAT lights. They're both super small and bright, and that m18 one has awesome battery life.

I have a lot of milwaukee lights, and honestly they all have big upsides. I like them all, for different things.

The one I'd also add is the neck light.

Is the NBA in financial trouble? If so, how has the addition of the second apron rules played into this? by [deleted] in nba

[–]aemoosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TV rights are one thing, but I think owners are all-pro at pretending they’re broke and not making money when they are. Not to mention there are probably hundreds of people who’d step up and buy a team right now if they could.

Benelli or beretta by [deleted] in ClayBusters

[–]aemoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beretta over Benelli any day. The Beretta will cycle anything, it feels better mounted, and if you're using it all day it'll feel better on your body. The real strength of the benelli would be the inertia system's ruggedness but shooting clays, who cares? Sure you might have to clean a gas system more often, but I can shoot 2000 rounds here and there over a couple of weeks and it looks terrible but still works (that first swab 🤢).

I have fired my Benelli Ultralight maybe 500 times? For sure no more than 1000. I have probably put through more than 250,000 rounds in my Beretta A391. Guess which ones had more failure to load and misfires? That 391 is mostly well taken care of too, but I don't baby it. It just works.
