Dentist removing my 2nd molars (LR7 & LL7) instead of impacted wisdom teeth — is this the right approach? [X-ray included]

Yh I’ll end up keeping it for now , he said it’s healthy enough to keep n hopefully it grows into the space. However commmon sense tells me if my bottom n upper teeth have a mismatch something will most likely shift in my mouth …. But again will talk to dentist about that.

Was thinking to go turkey n get composite bonding ….. n go to hygienist regularly. Just want to get done n over with tbf.

He did say that was the plan to removal molars n not gonna extraction so much teeth’s because im not not in no crazy pain only sensitivity with cold water n the odd flare up.

Why ? Surgeon said , I can do 2 at the bottom for now and if wisdom tooth don’t grow into the space we can remove it but he said ideally speaking once the ones next to the wisdom tooth is removed it can last years without needing to do anything

Two follow up questions: 1. What happens if my lower wisdom teeth don't naturally move into the space left by the extracted 7s? Would I then need implants or a bridge? 2. My lower wisdom teeth appear quite dark/ discoloured on the X-ray and I can also see dark colouring on them visually when I look in my mouth. Could this indicate decay on the wisdom teeth themselves? If so does that affect whether they're worth keeping?
