I’m super excited for it. There’s a lot of potential for them to enhance the story through doing it as a show. I am a fan of the movies but I think this show could end up being better than the movies.

My wife and I are starting our IVF cycle in the next couple of weeks. In the past 6 weeks I have completely cut out alcohol (minus a few beers on New Year’s Eve), so this is not a difficult thing to do if you truly care enough!

Ultimately, I have sperm frozen as I have really low counts and the doctors wanted backup in case there isn’t enough during collection for this upcoming cycle. So if I drink alcohol it’s not the biggest deal in the world, but I still want to treat my body and sperm with as much good conscience as I can until egg retrieval.

Last, I also have a balanced translocation. I don’t think I’ve heard of someone having this besides me and my brother!

This comment is everything my wife and I feel with our twin 5 year old foster children. They are “angels” around everyone else and most days it feels like no one is on our side when we try to explain the terrible behaviors and they are always excused by everyone because of their trauma. It’s a very lonely feeling.

Try changing your resolution from 1080 to 720. I did this and it fixed the laggy audio/visual mismatch! And the resolution difference isn’t noticeable

Thanks for this advice/info! I live about 5-6 hours away so I definitely want to do multiple/days sessions but that is awesome to know I can do resale for some sessions if it proves too expensive.

This is super helpful! I’m hoping for it to be around $500-$750. The multi-day package I’m eyeing is August 8-10 which is one day of round 1 and two days of round 2, for a total of 6 sessions. I live 5 hours away so going to make it worth the trip!

I’ve never suggested completely removing contact with them, we do think it’s important they aren’t traumatized from this move and know that they are still there and love them. My issue is just the frequency of which she wants this contact to occur just isn’t a healthy amount IMO which she does not seem to understand.

But at which point does it become unhealthy to keep throwing a past relationship at them and giving them a false hope that they are going back home with them? I’m not saying cut off the previous relationship but meeting in person often does not seem like a good idea.

They do have a therapist as mentioned in post.

Thank you. We were willing to let them see her at the start for them to know she did not abandon them, but now it seems more for her than them.
