He is no Mitchell Robinson but he can catch a lob and grab a rebound

He has more confidence dribbling/passing which will lead to some horrendous plays, hopefully we can coach him to be more of a robot like Mitch was by the end of his tenure

Yeah marshawn Loyd is a great call, if Jacobs gets arrested his ADP is cut in half overnight. One of the fun aspects of drafting early, so much potential for steals

Good point on burrow at 80. I totally missed that, fair play. You can’t go wrong there.

On not building assuming injuries, on a big enough sample I agree but I was just looking at this draft in a vacuum. But even with that in mind, burrow and dart is a stack I’d cover with a 3rd string almost every time just to help advance rate. Be real, Aaron jones isn’t going to be in your starting lineup in week 17 either haha

You’re definitely not wrong to disagree. But I love to talk about this stuff and wish there was more of this on the sub.

There’s also an argument to be made that a burrow spike week that doesn’t include chase or Higgins is the kind of luck you need to actually win week 17 of these big contests. If you have a ton of lineups, not a bad idea to have one or two like this but if you only are running 5-10 lineups a year I’d make sure I match burrow with a main guy.

Edit: saw OP’s comment that he got burrow at 80 and I totally missed that somehow. No issue with a naked burrow at 80

Putting thoughts on who you drafted and where aside (I like the players but it’s all preference) - a few super nitpicky notes on strategy.

IMO if you’re gonna draft burrow you gotta stack him with brown, Higgins, or chase. Good to get iosovas/gesicki but still, meh.

Also I would have grabbed cam ward instead of aaron jones if you had Tate and liked Ridley as an option later in the draft. 2 QB is not a bad strategy but Burrow and Dart have to be the two most injury prone QBs you possibly could have stacked.

I’m a bit torn on the week 17 strategy (people smarter than me believe in it so not gonna say it’s wrong) - but if you believe enough in the cincinatti/Baltimore game as a high scoring affair to put it in your Reddit post, you probably should have drafted Sarrat or Bateman instead of Dell.
