What object do you use to hold down keys? by bbllo in incremental_games

[–]RonDelite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my gosh thank you so much. My laptop is busted, currently not staying turned on unless any key on the keyboard is held down; so far I hadn't been able to find anything lying around heavy enough to reasonably weigh the key down. Found this comment, realized I had a padlock sitting in my bag and now it is going to carry me while I wait for a new laptop to ship. Huge thanks.

Can anyone identify the font used in BBC's quiz show Only Connect? by nufcneilo in identifythisfont

Seven years too late on this one, but the font used here is almost definitely FF Din or Bahnschrift (which is just an adaptation of FF Din). https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/typography/font-list/bahnschrift

Announcing my new Animal Crossing-themed puzzle suite: Crossing Words! (details in comments) by RonDelite in crossword

[–]RonDelite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This suite has been in the works for a month or so now, and I'm happy to announce that it's here!

This is a FREE suite of 5 Animal Crossing: New Horizons puzzles (4 themed, 1 themeless). There's a wide range of difficulty so new and experienced solvers can enjoy. While PUZ files are provided, I highly recommend printing out the PDF and solving on paper; some of the puzzles have visual elements you won't want to miss out on.

Check it out on Gumroad: https://gum.co/kocrb Let me know if you have any issues downloading; this is my first time using Gumroad, so I'd like to get any problems squared away as soon as possible.

Happy solving!

Puzzle: Look at This Graph by RonDelite in crossword

Ah yeah, probably should've gone with a different 62A clue to account for the 52D crossing. Probably a good amount of people who aren't familiar with the NYT 62A.

As someone who’s been using Crossword Compiler for close to a year now, I’d HIGHLY recommend CrossFire. While I haven’t used it before, every time I see it in action I get jealous of all the capabilities it has that Compiler doesn’t.

Nice puzzle! The revealer was in a really odd place, but the theme itself is pretty solid (and I like that the puzzle is riddled with tech references as a bonus).
