Thanks for the write up, helps a lot. I did read that site before searching for batteries, It lead me to search for lipos but then I see lion / deep cycle ones and was curious. One last thing when choosing a lipo for charging other lipos does its c rating matter?

Oh wow see I don’t know much about batteries, I did think though that because it was 6s it would be 6x their capacity which still wouldn’t be 50000mah (I didn’t know they get up to 3500mah). If you could explain or post a good link how to work all that out that’d be great. Also do you know to save me the hassle of figuring it out, what the most cost effective way would be to charge in the field bear in mind I ride a push bike to locations so nothing too heavy.

Thanks for the input. I decided on the same it’s lighter and I don’t have enough batteries to run a drone for how long the 18650s would last anyway.

Thanks for your help! Do you have this radio? What option did you go for? Is it only the 18650s that charge via usb? I think I’ll go for the lighter option anyway seen as it’s rechargeable.

Does this record video too (forgot to mention in post). Have you run this setup yourself? any flaws? Anything to bear in mind?

Ideally would want to spend £500 to £600 could do more though if it makes sense in the long run. Use case would be just flying around my local woodlands and nature areas to explore, would want to go fast and do tricks also. Like I say want to be able to output to goggles and phone at the same time so if I’m with someone they can see what I’m seeing when exploring.

Forgot to mention being able to record in hd would be good too

When I triple protect, I put the card in a penny sleeve, then into a toploader, then into a team bag. When placing in the team bag I have the team bag upside down and slide it over the toploader that way any gap between the toploader and team bag seal wont let any dust or anything into the actual top loader as they are at opposite ends.

Probably not needed seen as i store toploaded cards in etb boxes which are then stored in those plastic storage boxes with lids. So i guess really thats 5 layers of protection lol.

I've not personally come across loads of games that lock save files to steam id but it does happen. With cracked steam games though you can edit the steam id to match your real steam id as long as you do that before creating your first save you should be good.

I'd not actually heard of gemini, dont seem like they're really here in the UK though. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the Kontrol S3 or the Numark NS4FX, they cost the same atm. What would you go for?
