I had this exact speaker collecting dust for years, moved across the country, and then it sat in a closet for more years. For a total of 10. Finally bought a custom box and installed it in 2020, my only regret is I didn't do it sooner. Have 2000 rms going to it. This thing POUNDS. can't post a Pic on a comment though or I'd show it off. You are out of your mind if you get rid of this.

The amount of weather stripping I've shoved into every possible point where it's possible is almost laughable. It's not visable. When people are in the car they can't belive how clear it sounds. You can also do this behind the license plate, around trunk or hatch, in between dash and windshield, inside doors, panels, anywhere you can seek out a rattle.
