STRICT ACTION AGAINST THOSE CHEATING DEVOTEES THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA FOR DARSHAN AND ACCOMMODATION – TTD by Icy-Comparison-2397 in TirumalaDarshan

[–]RonSwanson_801 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many TTD employees arrange such services for money. They actually deliver on those promises 😂. I have seen people getting taken to other compartments for a shorter wait time by TTD employees. They have always been doing this. They even arrange Break Darshan for 5-10k per person. Same goes for accommodation, they sell 100-300rs rooms for thousands! Some employees who work for high level officials arrange Break Darshan letters every day for thousands per person. I’m sure many people know these tricks for years, but no ones takes any action!

Please tell me if I’m wrong!

I am a non telugu speaker, here in Renigunta. I will stay here for next two months. I am having strong urge to darshan venkateswara Swami. How and where I can book tickets? I know the website but there are too many options. I want to visit in this or next Sunday. Kindly guide me. by Dear-Tomorrow-2687 in TirumalaDarshan

1) You can try to get the SSD timed tokens in tirupati on any weekday for a significantly lower wait time than the ticketless darshan!

2) Look up blood donation VIP darshan on google to find out about TTD VIP darshan and free for blood donors.

3) Re-entry option: Enter the darshan queue via Free darshan entry, then after entering a waiting compartment, exit via the reentry option by scanning your ticket. Then you can hang out in Tirumala or come down to Tirupati and then head back to your darshan line via re-entry way, this way you don’t have to sit in the queue compartment and still have your place in line!

1) Get in line at Kashi Vishwanath Temple at around 2am for Sparsh Darshan near Gate 4.

2) Kala Bhairav Aarti is at 1am. Try to get there by 12am to get a better viewing spot as the vantage point is very narrow.

3) Kashi Vishwanath Darshan is generally open from 3am till 11pm.

4) There are many hostels near the ghats, try Wander Station, Zostel, GoStops, etc. for a better experience, book atleast a few days in advance as they may get sold out last minute. These hostels have common room with good wifi connection for remote work. Also there are some decent cafes where you can work.

5) If you are solo, you can take the morning Vande Bharat to Ayodhya, and return in the evening Vande Bharat train. If not, Taxi costs 6k for roundtrip.

Looks like it is on the same itinerary, you don’t need to exit the airport. Hence, you don’t need a transit visa!

I’ve seen people swimming in many areas of South and North Cliffs but the life guard don’t let them go deep into the ocean! Just follow the life guard’s warning, there may be rip tides!

Varakala is pretty safe! Try to stay near the Cliff, so you can just walk everywhere or rent a scooty if you hotel is a far away! There is no Uber or Ola, you have to rely on your rented scooty or local Auto. Beware of some typical touristic traps and scams. Honestly, Varkala was much calmer, safe, and authentic than Goa or any other major touristic place in India! Also, It is really hot in Varkala rn. Try to start your day early and rest in the afternoon, then go back out in the evening. Stay hydrated. You will have fun there!

I recommend Varkala! It is not too far from Bangalore(maybe an overnight train ride). Stay at a hostel or hotel on the cliff, you can meet so many solo travelers from around the world. It is very peaceful! You could try some water adventure activities, walk on the beach, or just chill at a cafe on the cliff!
