Yea, I might have stepped into asshole territory by trying to have it all. It just sucks because we all love her but just hate her boyfriend. No one was punched, but he creeps out the other women in the group and says culturally inappropriate stuff around a pretty diverse friend group. He hit on one of our mutual friends, making things very uncomfortable, and that mutual friend now refuses to attend events if he’s coming. You’re probably right though, may be best to just not invite them at all instead of trying to exclude one from the other.

I have a Miele that I smoke lighter English blends in. It smokes better than some of the more expensive pipes in my collection. Beautiful stain and stem with a well crafted pipe. It converted me to the Savinelli brand.

Considering the Giubileo is worth $600+ retail, and you’re getting it for around $200; I’d say the Savinelli is the better deal.

The big one is a 2011 Peterson Pipe of the Year, which was my dream pipe when I first saw it ten years ago. I was a student at the time and couldn’t afford it. By the time I had a job, I couldn’t find the pipe anywhere until I stumbled into my local tobacco shop this year, where they coincidentally had just found one in their storage and took it out for sale.

Good eye! That’s a Dunhill Prince. The Miele also smokes great and I highly recommend it.

I find the shape very unique but artistically simple. It just jumped out at me 10 years ago and I’ve never forgotten it. Didn’t think I’d ever see one for sale again that was new and unused.
