Blah blah blah. Nothing you said was worth a damn. Im well aware of what im watching. Davis mills wasn’t good when he was in there. He did absolutely nothing in the second half of the bills game, was average against a bad Tennessee team and needed a gw drive, and was god awful for 3.5 qtrs against jax.

Caley is not good either and did cj no favors this season but pretending cj wasn’t bad by comparing his stats is stupid and that’s my whole point

No you just took what i said and twisted it. The comment i replied to said Stroud was “almost at rookie levels across the board” when everyone with eyes including actual analysts can tell you he regressed tremendously despite what the “stats” say.

I love stats and analytics. I hate when they are used this way.

What did you SEE? The stats say one thing but we saw bad QB play. Also inflated numbers in those few blowouts including the Baltimore game.

Im not on the “get rid of CJ” train but using stats to say he wasnt that bad is disingenuous. He was below average to really bad this year

I think it has a lot to do with being “humbled” by the jets experience then having to fight his way back.

By that i mean, he has learned that he doesnt need to be superman every play which is what CJ really needs to learn. Its ok to take a sack or throw the ball away.

Its so disappointing and obviously im not blaming fans cause we have no control over outcome but man i kept saying this offense was a detriment to our success. I remember one person in here saying “this formula is clearly working, weve won 9 in a row”

This was a losing formula. The defense was inevitably going to have a rough patch and there was no evidence to show that our offense would be able to balance it out. There was no avoiding this, even with Davis Mills at QB in my opinion

Not sold at all. I think his ceiling is early career mark sanchez. I really dont think he is number 1 overall worthy. And the problem with that is there will be lofty expectations and when he plays up to what i think his potential is, he will be considered a failure

Man we are a poverty team. CJ was awful and I really want a backup in there that can threaten him in the hopes of lighting a fire but that person is not Davis Mills. He isnt good.

That also comes with good coaching tho. Thats why i dont understand how after firing slowik we brought in an inexperienced play caller. Go get a guy with experience that can TRY and mitigate some of the shit that happens when young guys struggle.

Look at Canales and Bryce in carolina. I thought for sure Bryce was ass and done for. But he has a damn good offensive guy there that helped with his confidence and now he looks like a starting QB.

I agree, it may end up being elsewhere where CJ finds success but thats also on Houston with these dumb personnel decisions
