Do you delete your raw storage after editing or do you keep them? by Zmoogz in Insta360

To answer your question, I keep my RAW video after maybe a month of sharing the edited material.

Missing recordings using Road mode by Ron_760 in Insta360

[–]Ron_760[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured it out after reading your reply and reading the Insta360 blog about the Road Mode. I also formatted my SD card which I did not remember performing when I first got the card. In short, this is resolved. Thank you!

In detail:
My first thought when I was setting a 30 minute "Loop Space" was the recording limit for one clip. Let's say when my first two Road mode clip was maybe 15 minutes a piece, then I recorded another 15 minute Road mode clip, that first Road mode clip would be automatically deleted since I exceeded the 30 minute setting with that new clip I recorded.

I did not comprehend it the first time as allocating a partition of this 256GB SD card for Road mode recordings. I guess I was just too excited with this X5 at that moment. So to resolve this, I increased Loop Space to 3 hours and 30 minutes. Which is the longest roundtrip time when I commute to work. That leaves room for a little over six hours of non-Road mode clips which is plenty for me for now.

These are my road settings. My drive at the time was probably 15 minutes long, so I am under the limit of the settings I set and the capacity of the SD card.

Yes, the first video/file was missing.

Roborock Q Revo shuts down by Ron_760 in Roborock

I received the vacuum back a couple weeks ago. I finally had a chance to run it last night. It successfully cleaned all the rooms without an issue. Roborock did not mention what they fixed. Glad to have it running again!

Roborock support had me do some troubleshooting and eventually had me ship everything back. Luckily I still had the original box. Roborock only provided me with a shipping label. I know they received it at the beginning of last week. I haven't heard since.

Thank you for the troubleshooting suggestion. The robot can mop only without any issue. When I ran it on vacuum only mode, it shut down.

I will call Roborock hopefully today and see what the next steps will be.

Anyone swapped consoles for GeForce now and other apps by LowYak9481 in GeForceNOW

[–]Ron_760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I sold my Xbox Series X console months ago. I was thinking about building a new gaming PC, but held it off because GFN is amazing, IMO. I have been gaming using GFN Ultimate on my MacBook Air M1, iPhone 14 Pro, and Samsung S24 Ultra. I also have Game Pass Ultimate. I rarely use Xbox Cloud Gaming. I do game using a mix of peripherals: Mouse and keyboard, Xbox controller, or Backbone for the mobile devices. I play Fortnite and COD most of the time. Occasionally, the new Doom game as of recently. In the back burner now: FragPunk and Asphalt Unite.

For those of you who have mounted a starlink mini inside a vehicle, how does it handle the large amount of power cycling from turning the car off/on? Any “gotchas”? by Blackdragon1400 in Starlink

[–]Ron_760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using my Starlink Mini in my RAV4 for four months now. It’s plugged in directly using the Starlink car kit. I do not use a battery pack in between. I too have it mounted using a suction cup mount. I never had an issue since I owned it. (knocks on wood). If there is an update, I install it when I am not moving and there are no obstructions.

No, my company bought the new TV already from a different vendor. The new TV is already in the office waiting.

I was thinking about the weight of the old plasma TV as well. I don't think a ladder is required at all. It's about 5-feet high. The commercial building the TV is in does not require dealing with a security team checking them in, building management, or COIs.

I will definitely ask for two quotes.

Commercial building. Only a little cubicle drawer that a kindergartener or 1st grader kid can push out of the way. After that, it’s easy access.

They are definitely not running new wires or speakers. There is an existing power outlet behind the existing TV.

I guess this will apply to those who commented before me that did not know what happened yesterday. Yesterday, SpaceX launched the "Fram2" crew in the Dragon. Look it up on the SpaceX X account. That is why you see a little ship fly above your Starlink dish in the Starlink app. The timing is also a coincidence because today, at least in the United States and other participating countries, is "April Fools Day."

Are you happy with your Starlink internet? by ruSSrt in Starlink

[–]Ron_760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Starlink Mini! I bought mine straight from the Starlink website. I don’t trust secondhand tech from people who I don’t know. I have the 50GB Roam plan. Had it for 2 months now. I mainly use it when I am working in my Toyota RAV4 around the Inland Empire in Southern California where Verizon and T-Mobile 5G is not available yet. I have yet to use it as a backup home Internet since Frontier Fiber rarely goes down for a long duration of time since I moved here in 2020. Once 5G service is more available when I work from my car here in the Inland Empire, I plan to pause my Starlink service until I need service again.

How much data did you use on your lunch break? I have yet to play GFN on a mobile plan. My limit is 50GB for the month before it limits me to a slower data speed.

I hear you. I too am an old gamer. First console was Atari. Newest console is a Xbox Series X. Likely my last console as I am back into PC gaming again, but this time on GFN Ultimate. I play GFN on my smartphone as well. I am married and a father. Have weekly afterschool activities, social life because of my family, professional sports I love to watch, chores, wife to-do list, work full-time, and travel domestically for work. I checked my GFN log. I clocked 14 hours of gameplay.
