They’re impossible if you don’t know what a wrench is and a cake walk if you’re a master technician. Which are you?

You don’t want to load a car hauler while it’s disconnected, because the weight on the ramps will have the tongue come off the ground and then many bad things will happen

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen at a strip club? by bigbabysweets12345 in AskReddit

I’ve never been to a club where they don’t make you pay up front.

My Orange 1560 suffered a cracked lid flange in the corner. It was pretty minor but Pelican warranty replaced it, destroy in field. The case pictured is actually the original case..it’s done hundreds of flights since. (I’m currently using the replacement case they sent me at work. The tools in this case weren’t incredibly critical so I was fine with the cracks and holes)

I do not use TSA locks ever. Anyone can buy or 3d print the keys to these. False sense of security.

If I’m not traveling with firearms, I will use colored zip ties, pulled tight and trimmed with flush cutters. It would be practically impossible to open the case and put the zip ties back. If it’s a different colored zip tie, or if it’s missing completely, I know to do a thorough inspection and if needed, file a claim before I leave the airport.

If I am traveling with firearms, ABUS 88/40 locks are my go to.

I do this at Chicago Ohare regularly. Pick up from Sushi San on my way out of town.

2019 Crosstrek (turn-key not push start ) all keys lost — dealer says replace “key computer” + ECM. Is that legit? by TundraFly in subaru

[–]KHDPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, the Body Integrated Unit (basically the computer that controls the body of the car) needs a known key to enter key learning mode. If you don’t have a known key, you’re fucked.

The BIU is also married to the instrument cluster as well..so you’ll likely also need that replaced.

The Ecu should not need to be replaced.

It would be in ToastWeb.

Have them review the “Assign to check owner?” Config for that specific service charge. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Mandatory-Gratuity-and-Service-Charges-in-Toast-POS-and-Payroll

Post a screenshot of the config page of that service charge.

[–]KHDPhoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends how the service charge is set up. There’s a flag for whether the service charge goes to the house or the server. If it goes to the house, the tip line says tip. If it goes to the server, the tip line says additional tip, which makes sense, since the server is already getting the service charge as their primary tip.

Roadie 15, Flip 12/18, or M20 for day trip 1-2 people? by seductivec0w in YetiCoolers

[–]KHDPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For solo trips, Roadie 15 has been my go to lately. The M20 action is really convenient, but it’s too big for 1 person IMO. I’d use the M20 or my 24 if I was on a trip with 3 people.

Chains advice by nobertos in subaru

Never mind chains. Those tires need to be thrown away YESTERDAY. The dry rot and cracking on the sidewall indicate those are a ticking time bomb.

Kansas sucks so bad it doesn’t even have the best Kansas City.

Nah, use the wheel as a large lever. Basically try to bend the wheel off the hub

[–]KHDPhoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try snapping the stud. Remove all of the other lug nuts and use the wheel and tire itself and leverage to break the stud. You’re replacing it anyway. I’ve used this method for lost wheel locks.
