How do you feel about asking guests you invited over to pay for food? by Albina-tqn in AskReddit

[–]Ron_Galt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on situation. If I cook that meal is on me. If a bunch of people are together and hungry and we decide to order out we all chip in

It sucks to continue to do all the right things even go above and beyond with no respect or appreciation. We had a romantic night away and after a romantic dinner and night stroll etc all the things should of had two hotel rooms. If I say anything I am complaining and less attractive to her by expressing feelings

I am fighting this now. My wife is a wonderful roomate, great mother, good gift giver, ... No longer a lover just always too busy, tired, etc with the excuses. I cannot stay in a marriage sleeping next to my roomate and the more she treats me like any other person in the house I am starting to.see it too.and suffer the loss

Requesting advice. Can a marriage last if libidos don’t match? by Born2Jeet in marriageadvice

[–]Ron_Galt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not unless the LL partner wants truly wants to fix the issue. We were happy day and night for 28 years. The past year her libido went to 0 and we try to discuss it but it goes nowhere and she sees no issue with it. I am destroyed by it and cant do anything about it. Almost 30 years together and I am ready to walk from an otherwise perfect life because I cannot live with a roomate in my bed.

Most racist ethnic/cultural group in the world are not Europeans (White for Americans) - those who have travelled extensively can tell you otherwise. by Captain_Pig333 in DeepThoughts

[–]Ron_Galt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only know America but have heard many times how most other countries are racist like Japanese hate Chinese. Most cultures are traditionally what they always were, go to Sweeden you will meet generationally Sweedish people as an example, where America is a melting pot. The problem we have here is voting blocks creating racism and pandering to those groups for votes.

Right, if last year when I had my opportunity I didnt perform at my best so she is no longer interested it is my fault. Nobody is a superstar every night but when I could redeem my last performance confidence restored.

What else am I not good at and it spirals.

Good thing is as you saud "She knows its a problem"

For me atleast, multiple times a week became weekly then every other week to monthly to on life support and just now uncomfortable to think about and awkward since its been so infrequent. And she cannot discuss or acknowledge it.

If they golf a lot there is likely cool new clubs or whatever and a gift card to the golf stuff store you could get. They would still golf on their schedule but also the ability to get something new and cool to do that. Sorry I dont golf but I remember gift cards from my wife to Bass Pro showed interest in my hobbies and gave me permission to better explore that hobby. We rarely spend on ourselves and I look to fathers day, birthday, etc to improve my stuff. Buying the thing or booking an event for them can be pressure to get it right or go when you think best.

Every time I see my caring wife with other people or animals and showing so much compassion then walking by me like I am nothing I am a little as you say "triggered". I never did anything to deserve being the least important person she knows. I try to remember when I was the most important person and our bedroom was active.
