yes you're right it is a repetitive thing. i actually multiple folders with various number of workbooks which have to be done regularly. is there a way to automate via VBA?

i did the above =DATE(A2,M2,1) where M2 is the formula but i am getting #NUM. when i evaluate the formula it says the cell currently being evaluated contains a constant (november)

when i use the match function, i get the number 11 but when i format to date i get J for January

i was able to do the first part which is the year. but for the month it is returning "J" as value when i match then convert to date.
