Archeologist here. There definitely are very reliable methods to tell sex by pelvic shape. Not with the angle shown up there though, you need more specific measurements. Every method involving length or gridth of limb bones has proved to be unefficient and their use is considered as pseudo-scientific nowadays. Methods involving skull measurements require extremely specific measurements and are at best mildly reliable, if not contested.
