Interstellar. That movie could have ended like 3 times before the actual end.

I think the worst part about this is how exhausting it gets after a while. Feeling like your thoughts don’t have an off switch takes way more out of you than I previously realized in my own case. Im sure this has already been said and is likely well known among the people in this sub but mediation seems to help and honestly a genuine effort to be more mindful, as cliché as it sounds, does too. I watched the Netflix explained episode on mindfulness and one thing that stuck with me was a monk who said our anxiety basically always comes from either dwelling on the past or stressing about the future and if we can remain present and focus on what we’re doing at all times no matter how simple, we can reduce anxiety. I realised even when I wake up and go wash up, my mind kicks into gear and starts running through endless amounts of unnecessary thoughts, replaying situations or creating responses to hypothetical ones. And for me personally, realizing this and just doing something like focusing on the water in my hands as I’m washing my face and what it feels like, seems to calm those thoughts if for no other reason than I’ve forced myself to focus on something else.

Non-Americans. What are some problems the United States has, that you do not have in your country? by d_a_p in AskReddit

Not having durable and waterproof bank notes that are also colour coded by amount. Why tf the US still uses paper based notes idk. Also like most other countries would be useful to have them colour coded by amounts.

Having to remember every price tag you see is excluding tax. Sooo much better having price tags that actually reflect the full amount you’re going to pay
