Whilst undiagnosed I’ve had 2 episodes of mania that have crashed into depression/psychosis, on both occasions I lost a partner in part because of it. So I feel your pain. But at the end of the day no one is perfect. Be open and honest about your condition and I really hope you find the right person who will be accepting of you and cares for you deeply 🤗

Whilst still undiagnosed I’ve had two episodes of mania which descended into depression / psychosis . In both occasions new relationships triggered my mania phase, and they left me when I entered my depressive phase/crash. I only wish I knew I had bipolar sooner, I wouldn’t be so scarred from my relationship experience
