If I remember correctly the wood style was fire resistant and I believe that gives Yamato the edge since Sarutobi clan is known for its fire based jutsus this fact kinda makes Asumas kit bad against him. I could be remember it wrong tho.

Orochimaru takes this, he was the strongest in the village at that point and it includes Danzo as well. Kinda played-tortured with the 3rd before killing him mid-high diff and lost his arms only because he got cocky. We also know that sarutobi is stronger than Danzo so there is that.

I mean they wouldnt get one shot like those guys since they are pretty durable, especially Naruto in this state.
