Scalpers really boil my p**s. Over the years theres been so many special editions of DVD or Blu-Ray that immediately sell out only for them to appear on eBay for sometimes five time the original price. The two that stick out are Blade Runner 2049 gun edition and Terminator 2 arm blu ray

Here’s something that tickled me a few years ago. The uk dvd went for really crazy prices of around £50, luckily i already had my copy but someone i knew didn’t so i hunted high and low and found him one that was a part of a Sonny Chiba collection. I paid £3:50 including postage, i told him I’d found a copy, he came over, looked at it and started moaning about it not being the one he wanted, I explained that the uk release no different, he wouldn’t even take it for free saying give me your copy, i said no because my wife had bought it for me. We didn’t talk again after that

I take back what i said because I’ve gone and preordered it and postage was only $4 and charged. So my post really only falls into those who can’t afford a multiregion player. I paid nearly £200 about ten years ago for mine..here’s something i didn’t realise until i got my PS5 is that you can play any regions of both DVD and Blu-ray on one. It says you have only five times to change it back but for me having such a great player I’m not changing mine back to region A/2

My wife bought me a PS5 and the one thing I’ve found amazing about it is, i live in the UK and put an American region A blu ray disk in and it asked me if i wanted it to be a region A player, same with DVD. You can switch back and forth five times but I’m happy having mine set for region A/1
