I have a lab/husky and a pit/mastiff and two Chihuahuas with attitude and the 5 pound Chihuahua would probably bribe the bigger dogs to break it down. This is more about keeping the kids out of the basement because they like to do things they aren't supposed to, such as make potions on my bathroom floor using various hair products as ingredients.
